Hello, I really liked the review, there are several points in which I agree, especially in the medium and high frequencies, but I solved some details that I did not like by carrying out several tests with the accessories that come with the MS5, especially the mouthpiece red and the vocal pads are the best sounding. I was surprised by the quality of construction that it offers and what I liked the most was the cable, I think I had not seen any brand offer us this type of cable, usually you have to buy them separately, in terms of price I think that It is at an acceptable point for everything they offer us and I am talking about quality, accessories, mouthpieces and tips, with this you can find the sound that you like the most. 😁😍
Hi David ! lol nice humor taste, 1:18 I'm laughing so hard. If I had to describe the MS5 (yes I'm also on the tour), the MS5 is more towards U-Shaped, its warm but also spicy IEM at the same time, the bass, mids, including vocal are definitely thick and dense, and the treble is..... yes, its a bit spicy, personally myself using the MS5 with the bass filter with thinner cable the Moondrop Line T, kinda downgrade in a way, but more comfortable for me and I can aim for deeper insertion with the MS5 to shift and tame the treble a bit, just in case you have free time, do try swapping the cable and aim for deep insertion with the MS5. Anyway, nice review and greetings from Indonesia, -Yohanes
Could you tell me which DAC you usually use? I'm considering buying a new one. The MS5 is quite appealing to me and I've already added it to my shopping cart.
I'm currently switching between Topping E70 + L70 and Earmen ST-Amp. You don't need anything crazy though, it also works fine with SMSL C200 but I feel MS5 works best with a warmer source.
Edited: I only have the og fh7. I would probably take the FiiO over MS5 because I wasn't really impressed with the sharpness. I can't say regarding FH7S.
After using only for a few days, I can say that Hidizs MS5 is probably the best In-Ear Monitor Earphone money can buy. Compared to other high-end earphones on the market, the Hidizs MS5 earphones are relatively affordable. This can make them a good choice for people who want high-quality audio without breaking the bank. Reward yourself.
Awesome review 👍 quick one which set is way below MS5 in price and that have good or better macrodynamics and imaging than ms5? I'm most concerned with the macro-detail.
To this especially, maybe the timeless og still? Or even the stellaris. None are the most euphonic, but have some of the most detail retrieval in a budget.
@@bernardoandrade88 I'm less concerned with planars I already have two planars that doesn't do much in that area. Could you site example with either hybrid, single DD or probably BA?
Edit to add : I just read the description and they have lost their minds if they think people will pay $499 for the type of sound signature you just described. There's also the fact that even though it's a nice cable it does not have inter-change-able connectors so no balanced 2.5 or 4.4mm and at the price point they're shouting for that makes them a hard pass from me unless they can compete with the Variations or similar offerings from other brands, even the DUNU SA6 comes to mind for just $60 more. I wonder what Hidiz is thinking on this one or if they even are? WOW, so the MS5 make the Blessing 3 sound warm? So in other words the MS5 is a very harsh and sharp V similar to the KZ house sound. For that money I'm buying the Tea 2 for $130 less and a much better IEM IMHO...
IMO the MS5 is warm but spicy at the same time, you can use the bass filter and change the cable to a thinner one and aim for deep insertion to shift and tame the treble a bit, the MS5 is definitely a unique sounding IEMs and might or might not fit everyone taste, but at least for me, I do found myself using the MS5 as my EDC IEM paired with the LP W2-131

I was using a different cable at first but went back to the stock one. Yeah, those hooks are super aggressive.
How is the sound field of the MS5? Especially in the mid and high frequencies. I personally prefer brighter sounds.
See written review (link in description).

I'm undecided between Hidizs MS5 and FiiO FH7s. Which one do you think I should choose?

That's some spicy tuning. Tbh, I can't see these selling well even down at the Blessing's price. I guess time will tell.
Yeah, I’m with you on that.

Wow, shilly. Ok, I'll take your word for it.

Bgvp ns10 does it well. There’s also KATO and Simgot EA500.
@@PrimeAudioReviews thanks a bunch ✨
@@PrimeAudioReviews I had ea500, it doesn't do much in the area of macro-detail

I don’t remember ever hearing a KZ this bright.
