This is brilliant. It will also be so useful for the children’s clothes. I love the fact it will create packing lists as I get so overwhelmed. Thank you, Madeline!

I am absolutely going to try this and I think it would be fun to document it on my channel as well. Thank you for the inspiration! I'll be sure to link your video as what inspired me to try this out :)

I’ve done this as part of the Indyx style course.
My 3 words are Functional Minimal Boho.
I started in February and so far these are my lessons:
    - I have a separate uniform for activewear. At first I tried to use my 3 words with these but now I consider these separately and I’ve declutterred a lot of Fabletics leggings
    - I hang everything for each season’s capsule wardrobe in one place as I’ve decluttered which saves headspace and energy when choosing an outfit
    - I scroll my own wardrobe and enjoy revisiting old items that I’d forgotten about
    - identifying my 3 style words means I’ve curated a wardrobe which feel good in whatever I wear
    - intentionally selecting and styling my clothes makes me feel happy and grateful for what I already own. Especially as the Indyx app’s layout is so sleek and attractive. I now feel I make the most of my clothes

I remember doing this (alongside cost per wear) and it was amazing!

I had my wardrobe in Stylebook but got out of the habit of entering new purchases. I keep buying duplicates, sometimes exact ones, accidentally, so I’m going to bring the inventory app up to date. I hate it when I buy an item only to discover later that it’s already in my closet! I have an undeniably huge wardrobe, I really need to keep up with the cataloguing. I was just putting in too much detail, like the leg width and rise of every pair or trousers, and that made the processing too slow. This time, I’m limiting it to the photo (just one), size, brand, fiber content and price, that should speed things up. It’s still a ton of work, though. I do it for the current season clothes that are hanging in my closet, not the clothes for other seasons that are in storage. I’ll get to them as the seasons roll around. I think the bigger the wardrobe, the more necessary some sort of catalogue or inventory is. It worked best for me when I was methodical, I entered each new garment after steaming or ironing it and before adding it to my closet.
