Good ol' dungeon crawl topped with an epic battle against a terrifying foe, great episode
That combat had me at the edge of my seat! Another fantastic episode.
the series of seemingly impossible and fateful rolls to snatch the victory away from terrifying foes and thus escaping certain doom continues. Truly MMD.
I was convinced they were dead.
Ahhhh so exciting! I enjoyed the use of the dungeonator or dungenerator. Neat.

The Broken Empire (TBE) as a system shows how narratively powerful rules crunch can be when plied by a master showman. The -20% Fear penalty felt powerful and shifted the momentum of the battle from the beginning. However, the opposed rolls were so tight that very few Combat Maneuvers could be utilized by either side.
How steep a price will be extracted by the Weave? Is the tear a portal to the Lich's lair? Does Trevor own loaded dice?
Same dice 🎲 channel. Same dice 🎲 time.
The rolls at the end are great, they were getting thieir butts kicked 😂
Wow Trevor. This was an amazing episode. I love the thrill you have when things go well for Thrag and Vail. The use of the dungeon cards was epic. See you at the next episode. MM&D lifer here.

Are we reaching climax already? I guess the answer will have to wait until the next episode. The dungeon generation system you used is pretty interesting one, and the cards added the value of visible form which add to the imagination. Great Episode, Trevor!

An epic in the making here! Love the intro! I created my own solo RPG channel where I'm doing all the voices, it's hard work but so much fun 😅
It's so inspiring to see how diverse your character's voices are, the subtleties you have are just enough to differentiate them, awesome.
I like how this game engine mixes some of my favorite things in MERP/Rolemaster with Mythras/Runequest. I do wonder if there will be variant rules if you want more simulationist combat instead of zones? Love how the guard is alternately called 'this guy', 'buddy', and 'dude'. :D

I don't think I've been this stressed over a combat encounter since the Temple of Devona back in season 1! Definitely wasn't expecting Thrag to pull through, but good on Vail for her successes at the end of the fight!
And as for the question that's waiting until next episode to be answered: Damn you, Trevor! You know how to leave me chomping at the bit for what comes next!

Or the guard was a secret agent for the Assassins "invading" Vale's ... reassurance?
I was also struggling with that one. My though was the Reassurance was them thinking the entrance was close, and it got Invaded. Maybe ignoring next roll to see if they find his lair.
