Headlight Restoration | 300,000 kms Toyota Corolla

How to restore those yellowed headlights? This video is for you.

Steps as follows:
1. Wash the headlight to remove surface contaminants
2. Mask around the headlight to prevent damage to the paint
3. Apply polishing compound using a microfiber or cotton cloth
4. Wet sand the headlights in 3 steps
5. Apply polishing compound again
6. Finish off with the base coat and sealing wipes provided (I did not show this step)

I have same problem with my 300,000Km 2003 corolla too, here in the UK. And like yours, I think its worth fixing coz the thing just keeps on going!! It has nearly failed the MOT (yearly manadatory UK vechicle saftey check) on the headlamps last 2 years though and this honest review is really really helpful as I decide what to do to avoid that this year: Cheers Mate!

Can you do A review after a few weeks or a month?

It was still the same after a month or so, clearer and better. However, since I did not apply the protective coating, the headlights have slowly started to oxidize again. But, having a look at them now after 9 months, they still look better than before, despite not applying that protective coating provided in the kit. I would still recommend this kit!
