Don’t change the Shrinkwrap modifier to “Project”. Worked for me.

I figured this out - I did what he says up until about 2:20 or 2:25 in his tutorial above, but from then on I do what this 1-minute tutorial here says to do: th-cam.com/video/Y3xPyfKuz_s/w-d-xo.html Meaning, I do what he says and create the Path and add a subdivided plane that I rename Moveable Plane, but instead of then adding a Follow Path constraint to the Moveable Plane, what I do to the Moveable Plane is what is done to the cube at about :20 in that other video at the link I've mentioned. And then I follow what that other video says about what to do to the Path also, and how to keyframe the speed using the Evaluation Time parameter under Path Animation. I'm sounding more complicated about it than it really is - watch the 1-minute video at the linked I've mentioned, read what I'm saying here another time or two, and you'll see that what I'm suggesting is actually very simple and works great. The one thing I also did that this other video did NOT mention is that under Path Animation, right below the Evaluation Time parameter, I checked the box that says "Follow".

My car went underground, following the path instead of the projection.

Never mind. I deleted the whole thing, followed this tutorial again and somehow, it suddenly worked.

Hi, When I add copy location and copy rotation to the truck, there is empty to choose "Vertex Group", so the truck follows the path but it is still under the terrain. What is the problem? Thank you ahead!

If any one still need this:
The problem was caused by incorrect vetex group assignment.
      Solution:
Remove vertex group, creat new one, select vertexes in the moving plane, in vertex group presse assign. Now the object folows the surface.
