Wow, thank you so much! I struggled to get this pesky little thing to light for ages. I was beginning to think it was faulty then I watched your review and about the air hole needing to be open. I don't know if I'd have ever succeeded without your video. Once again, many thanks!
video was exellent,i bought one ,and could not get it to work, filled up with gas ,and that was it ,for few hours, watch your video, and boom, got it going ,thanks for upload video,i use it for rc cars, solder big cables, heat shrink after, works well, tried electric solder irons, but big cables, suck the heat out of the iron, cold,i too, tried plumb torch, was hot ,but big head head, melt wire, hard control flame, but this is good for big cables,rc wiring
Sorry for such a late response! I just became very active on TH-cam again, and definitely plan to stay. Being how small it is, it certainly has limitations. None the less a great torch. Thanks so much for watching!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU & THANK YOU❤ So I did READ DIRECTIONS BEFORE I tried to ignite. And THEY ARE NOT CLEAR about the Air regulator. In the Directions it looks like you are only supposed to be able to see one side with a hole. Once I saw your demo and adjusted to where you could see straight through. Of course it didn't light the 1st time. But on the 2nd go it lit. SO THANK YOU 🎉❤
@@bjdicandia6689 can’t tell you how long it took me to figure out the air vent. Thinking, I just bought this thing why isn’t it working!!! Glad I could help. Thank you so much for commenting and watching!

Have you tried it again? has it worked? Also I didn't know using the extender makes the flame hotter. Let me know if you can reach the temperature and if you use the extender or not.
I've just bought dremel torch and bought online propane-butane Ronson's cans 300ml. Can I use it with dremel or I wasted money for 5 cans of propane-butane? Can't find informations about using propane-butane with dremel torch anywhere...
@@jacksonworkshop The case here is that every substance has CAS number which tells you what is that substance. When i checked CAS nr "68476-85-7" this one which I bought: www.stephensons.com/ronson-butane-gas-lighter-refill.html it showed me that it's not pure butane only mix of propane and butane. Now I only guess, that in english commonly it is called 'butane torch' and ' butane gas' but in fact it's mix of this two: propane and butane. So translation from english to my language is not good enough. Thank you for help! Hugs :)
Depends on the metal i guess.... Probably not tho as it doesnt use an oxygene cutting flame...just simple butane which reaches about 1200 celsius. Perhaps enough to melt some metals but i doubt you can effectively cut anything with it.
Their manual are not super straight forward fool proof either. The illustrated part isn't very clear and you need to refer to their instructions page where it's word and then refer back to the picture to see which part their are mentioning. Their quick guide short video showed the person operating but could've been more detailed. For instance that lock mechanism under the button that you seem to slide to the left before you can press it down, it's not exactly just a slide, you have to push it downwards as you slide it to the left so the path is more like a U shape. if you slide it to the left not knowing it, there is a chance it seems to get stuck.
No I would give a honest review regardless. But some people like hearing there is no motive behind a review. I’ll always give honesty. Thanks so much for watching!
This is an awful review. Basically nothing more than an unboxing with only a single demonstration of function (and a very unchallenging function. It can torch wood... yay). There's so much more that could have tested. But whatever.
It would be a better review if you had used and demonstrated all the tips, not everyone will want to use it just to burn things. Please read the instructions at least once so you can at least install the tips properly. No, I probably won't buy one, I like the better model that is pen shaped.

Good tutorial. I ordered one of these.

@@jacksonworkshop Thanks and it works great.
Great review definitely a deal breaker for

Would this be strong enough to melt silver? I need a propane torch for making silver coin rings.
I wish I could give you a accurate response, but I’m unsure
Thank you for the explanation 😀

thank you very much!! What is that little yellow box?
This has bothered me for a while….apparently it’s a sponge? What it’s for, is beyond me.thanks so much for watching! Please subscribe! Merry Christmas!
It's for cleaning soldering tip. You wet the yellow sponge and clean tip by passing with tip on the surface of wet sponge.
How do I get the torch to reach maximum heat ca 1200 D Celcius?
It won´t even melt silver at ca 900 Ceclcius, even when using the extender.
You gotta open the vent so the hole is completely see through! Thanks for watching/commenting

Hi, can I melt 1 or 3 gr of gold with this torch? Thanks
Unfortunately I have never attempted using it with gold
@@jacksonworkshop ok, if this kind of torch can reach 1100/1200 celcius degrees i think it could melt it.

I’m sure it could! Thanks for commenting and watching

I have a dremel versa used it many times, , but now it won't ignite...it's full of butane to, any ideas on how to fix this?
Unfortunately I haven’t really messed with the versa. I wish I could help 🥺
Clean the nozzle as it needs good electrical contact to light
Is it still working good?
Still works great
Can you cut metal with it?

Thats one of those mini torch like lowes sells. Drop it and porcelain in nose falls out. They suck
I did not know that, luckily it hasn’t happened for me! Thanks for watching
so when it's empty you don't have to go and buy a whole new can of propane, you just have to go and buy a whole new can of butane?
Yep! All you need is butane cans for refills
lol. good point. either way you need to buy more!
