Thank you for these videos. I am wanting to learn many traditional methods for growing, preserving, and cooking our food.
I am in the USA, and I don't like how disconnected everyone is from their food. I also don't like how processed and altered it is. I want us to be healthy.
So my husband and I are making a homestead and farm to raise our own food. My ancestors were German, and my family lost our connection to them after world war 2 due to fear of being associated with Hitler.
Seeing these old methods for preserving food help me to learn, and they help me to feel closer to the ways that my own ancestors used to live before the world kept changing.
