Two things: One, Dev effectively had Murphy’s Law in this video, and two, Kierrrr was probably hitting himself with the fireballs because he shot them faster than they got away from him and collided, or just a small bit of lag froze one fireball near him and caused the next one to explode

Dev, with seemingly the worst twist, is essentially a walking disaster. When he finally realized, he knew he could kill Keir through the disasters he would inevitably cause.
TL;DR: Dev had what looked to be the worst twist, but was actually the most useful.
I was pretty pleased to see my predictions coming true
Near the beginning of the video, I thought "wait, but what if Dev manages to enter the end? He can disaster-fy the whole end island, his twist is actually the most powerful"
