My best combo: pepper blaster and brass knuckles. I've never needed anything more, and I'm not interested in a gun. If they have a gun, I'm screwed though, but I'm still not interested in getting to that level of death.

Brass knuckles are a felony in most states. Good luck in court.

Brother that makes absolutely no sense. I've carried a yawara stick (an SD1), which is a type of palm stick, for about a decade and have effectively used it twice in self defense. But unless I'm flying and I have to deal with TSA, I carry it along with a reliable pistol. Either you're soft and haven't been exposed to a genuine lethal threat in your life or you're a felon and your statement is a cope. Avoiding guns is the dumbest decision you can possibly make for self defense. Guns are the greatest equalizer we have as individuals. And in addition to their effectiveness, they're significantly less legally dubious than your brass knuckles, which will automatically catch you a felony charge in most places just for carrying them.

    6:50 riiiiight 👌🏽 try that with a full speed 1, 2
but yes this would work perfectly on someone who punches and leaves their arm hanging and no recoil 😂

I would not even consider a palm stick as a tool to choke someone out. Your technique left you open to a groin strike. The palm stick is an impact weapon.

That will only cause somebody to baseball choke you ever harder, dragging you face down into the floor. Once a choke is sunk in, it's extremely difficult.

Get a brass tactical pen. I have the Prometheus Executive Alpha Brass Pen, weighs 82grams, bit hefty for its size and compare to other tactical pens.

I don't get this palm stick thing... If you're agile and strong enough to block or hinder motion with that tiny stick, it may be a better idea to give a quick blow to your opponents head first and then do whatever you want next.. i.e keep striking until KO or take out a limb

??? No you're not blocking with that stick, you're using it as a reinforcement for your strikes. Instead of hurting your fist, you're smashing with the butt end of the stick. Or you're using that to hook or ensnare the limbs.

I think the choke would be more effective in a takedown. Doing that choke leaves you wide open, the opponent can hit you or even take you down.

What uses is a stick in a gun fight?

none. If your opponent draws a firearm you should draw yours.

How dare you open that package with household scissors! All the cool channels take the opportunity to show off their micarta handled custom blades, civil war bayonets or WWI trench knives.

All these techniques are based on movements that require fine motor skills, that will be totally absent in a real fight of 160 heartbeats per minute.
Total waste of time, seen from practical perspective.

    • @enzoswoodshop1052
      @enzoswoodshop1052 หลายเดือนก่อน

they're only absent from a fight if you don't maintain a disciplined training schedule. With muscle memory literally any fine motor skill can be done reliably under pressure. Your statement reminds me of all the old boomers who think the slide release on a pistol should be avoided because "fine motor skills" lol.

@@enzoswoodshop1052 I am sure you ‘ve checked the latest suicide attempt against Donald T. The female bodyguard could not holster her handgun under stress.
It is self-evident that you are not a uniformed professional or you have no experience of real life high stress reactions. Or maybe both.
Fine-motor skills are simply not available under high stress, no matter how many decades you train them. Period.
What is achievable through hard work for decades, is to keep stress level under control, in which case fine-motor skills might be available.
But this kind of training refers to monks of Tibet lifestyle and does not apply to nobody in the Western world.
      Quit fantasy world.
