I would probably drill those bolts and safety wire them. Actually it's a bad design, that bolt could hang the throttle open.

My 2020 m8 114 /18 k miles burns some oil. I add every month...is this common/normal ?

Crankcase vents excessive blowby? Or is it coming out the tailpipe?

Lesson learned. Lucky that was the only damage done. Could have cost them a complete rebuild.
