  • I should start this intro by mentioning I no longer watch anything on television unless it’s at least 40 years old. My favorite network is called METV, and I only watch it for about an hour at bedtime.
    .
While getting sleepy the other night watching an old episode of Barnaby Jones, I was jolted awake about 10 minutes into it when I realized I recognized all the outdoor shots. It was basically Barnaby figuring out the Sherriff at Redlands Safety Hall was killing off all his new wife’s boyfriends. The Sherriff (who was also the mayor in Blazing Saddles) must have done well as a sheriff as he lived in the old Watchorn House on Highland. One of the boyfriends (who was also Cliff on Cheers) was working on the construction site of the new Redlands Mall. Cliff had run into the Sheriffs wife at the Ford Street 76 Station where the sheriff was watching her, and they agreed to meet at Taylors on Barton Rd. (Interesting side note, you can see what I think is one of Larry Jacinto’s Trucks and tractor in the background)
When Cliff leaves Taylors the Sherriff forces him off the road killing him.
    .
I edited out everything except the outdoor shots, which are really fun to watch and help remember Redlands as it was almost 50 years ago
    .
Long story short - Barnaby solved the case.

The guy had hair, and he was thin. He wasn't bad looking then.
It's amazing to see how and when actors have gotten their start. Some of the 1970s ppl didn't make until the 1980s. Real actors. Not these no talent clones they run through Disney.
I just wanted to say that my dad loved this show and watched it every chance he got. He was a truck driver, so he wasn't home much. I wish he had been. Buddy Hacket seemed to always be smiling.

Trump is full of hate and he's an awful person, so you are a poor judge of character.
