the problem is that you have to get as close to the white line on the left side so the pitcher has to run and make that longer distance throw so you can have the longest time to make it on base
If you want to run faster on the bases try to tap on the base ahead to run faster, then switch back to the base you were going to. Such as if you lay down a bunt, tap the "2B" icon so the player will run faster. Then when they are close to the base tap on the "1B" icon so they stop running.
Take 2 of asking for this: Challenge: Can't use any pitcher but your starter. The lineup switches. And I saw those extra broze players, make them the Angels bulpen and pitch with them.

there is a thing where if you hit and lets say you hit s double but if you send him to 3 he goes faster to 2nd but have to stop him right before he goes past 2nd... it might not make sense but its a thing alot of good people do and it would be a lot easier to get on base when you would be usually out

Recruiting tickets, can get them by completing missions and also as rewards randomly from games
yo when you are running on the base paths you can press 1st when you are running to it and you will go faster. u might have beaten that challenge.
