Nice! that was the video I was looking for, it was more leaning on sound effects, looping and other cool sounds, not just drum samples... Can you tell if there some thunder sounds and rain in the preset, also hand pan sound sample? Thx!

Hi, Thank you for the video, I just want to find out if I can use the Roland PD external trigger pads on the Alesis Multipad?

Hi, Do you know by any chance How can I import sounds from my I Pad Garage Band directly into my Alesis Strike Multipad? I don’t have a LapTop to use the USB. Which cord do I need? Will I need an adapter for my I Pad cord? Thanks Miguel Monroy in Tucson Arizona

Do you know if this multipad allows us to play a loop at different tempo on the fly (based on how I trigger it)? Any suggestion on sample pads which has this feature?

Trigger MIDI into Ableton live. Every piece of e-drum technology is about a decade behind DAW technology, and it's crazy because you could buy a top of the line PC for less than the price of a TD-50. I can get Ableton suite for 600 bucks, which is less than the strike pad. Someone needs to just cram a Mac mini into their drum module and get to the level of superior drummer as far as sounds. A 1TB SSD is about 100 bucks, and could hold TONS of incredible sample libraries.

What are the midi possibilities for each pad (to send different messages to different channels)?

I see you’re getting back into some hardware. I was sad when you had to get rid of your Arq. I liked your first tutorial, and you mentioned more to come..but then you had to sell it. I haven’t seen many tutorials on it and as you know, there are a ton of features. Did you have any tips from what would’ve been your next tutorials?? I’ve had mine for over a year..but haven’t had much time to uncover it’s secrets. So sadly, it’s just been sitting at the edge of my desk..just looking pretty while my other gear gets all the attention

Hi there, thanks for the in depth info! One of the things i'd like to be able to do if i buy the Strike is to have my backing tracks on it... do you know if there is a length limit when importing samples form USB? I'm thinking of importing backing tracks to each pad... so for example on Pad 1 i'd have my first backing track, which would be an approc 5 minute stereo wav file, on pad 2 i'd have my next songs backing track... and so on... I assume this is possibel to do? Many thanks :)
