I'm getting one of these for my Mom I think. She will love it, too much technology freaks her out.

I like this review. He gives the facts without getting too involved in personal responses. Shows a really good range of points to consider. Thanks for the help!

We have just purchased a CRV 2014 EXL and have been disapointed with fuel consumption after 280 miles the fuel consumption on blended mostly high is 9.9 KM per litre with is well off the published consumption

those people complaining about the features and this and that compared to the escape, or rav-4 or tiguan, or whatever haven't driven the car. when you drive this gen cr-v or any gen for that matter every thing they did when they designed it makes sense. its supposed to be a simple, hassle free, nice driving good handling car with peppy around town power. i've personally driven all 3 gens (havent driven a gen 1) and the only car that drives better than it is the CX-5 if you don't mind a slow to respond automatic. the escape torquesteers and leans so much it feels like it cant put down any power and the tiguan can't lay down rubber unless its full of premium gas and has the expensive 4motion option. This, a cx-5, and rav-4 would be on my list.

CR-V is a great car one word to describe it is "easy" but with all of its great practicality it's starting to get behind the times the best CR-Vs are the low trim levels because they have a nice amount if standard features but once you climb the trims levels it becomes less of a great value

No other crossover in this class has LED daytime running lights except the Ford Escape but it's only available on the top trim. The CRV is modern car but it's more for people who want to get from point A to point B.

Ya but it's starting to get dated. If Honda really wants to stay competitive it will need to be more like the Accord or Civic

I heard Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus playing on the dealership speakers at the beginning of the video, and I started singing along.

This has all the tech, beauty and style of a...2008 model. Honda needs to quickly update this thing. Especially since all of its competitors are more modern.

Exactly what Im saying, it has a nice amount of standard tech but once you start to climb the trim levels the tech becomes a little underwhelming.

The infotainment/back-up screen is too small. It is set back so far you can't see the display, at least, not in this video. Also, would like to know how adequate the a/c is and the vent locations for the backseat and cargo area, if any.
