  • During the 1000 hour review, I showed how the differential lock did not spring back after being depressed, which can cause serious problems if continuously engaged. So, in this video we investigate the cause and fix it! Thanks for watching!

Hey Jason ! I don't think there is anything John hasn't done with his SCUT or done to it , He really is a good person & has allot of good tips & experience with these SCUT .Nice job on breaking it down & showing the possibilities of what could have been the issue. Thanks for the video have fun & be safe doing it.

My fist impressions were on that pretty new concrete with no oil stains. 13:20 😂

Lol, better than rolling around in the dirt. Drive way still looks new except for the chunk my son took out of it while trying to scoop up some rock. I had a 48x60 workshop built so no more repairs in the driveway,Lol.

Nice Job going over everything you did to get it to work! Thank you for the shout out!! I'm glad you got it working properly because leaving it engaged can cause some serious damage with a high price tag! Have a good week! See ya in the next one!

Thanks and your welcome I really enjoy watching your videos! I was super happy it was just a lubrication issue and not something more serious. Enjoy your week.

Hi from Australia, I have the exact same issue with my GC1705. I see many design flaws with MF (ISEKI) tractors, which could damage the tractor and will cost a fortune. Recently the 4 bolts from my mower deck gearbox came off. awkward positioning of the tail lights , which already broken.

I just watched John's video last week on the Doff-lock and was wondering what was going on when you too posted a video on Diff-lock issues I too have a 2017 Massey GC 1710 and will definitely keep an eye on this. I have not used the Diff-lock on the GC since I had it but did use it on my older Massey 1533 (which I traded up to a larger tractor). Thanks for the video on your Diff-lock and thanks to John as well. 👍🏽🙂

I was really surprised that their wasn't a greese point on it since that part is actually welded to the frame! I like you don't use it very often so it's easy to overlook. Thanks for watching and commenting I sure appreciate it! Have a stellar week.

Hi Jason, When I watched and commented on your 1000 hour review I thought because of all the sand you have that you were going to have a lot of problems (sand is very hard on equipment) I bought my Massey after watching John video's! the comment by Dan H sounds like a good Idea, I may do it myself !

Robert Ganther, I agree sand and equipment don't play well together, fortunately though I've not really had many issues I do keep the greese zerks clean before pumping greese I also clean the air filter religiously and stay on top of my PM's schedule. Thanks for the view and comment. Have a fantastic weekend!!

Two things: 1) using the backhoe as a jack is considered cheating; 😉 2) if you are going to cheat like that you should lower the outriggers because the front axle is free to pivot and the machine can tilt unexpectedly. Having the bucket in contact with the ground helps but is insufficient to prevent this.

Lol. Yea, I wanted to use the backhoe to show how powerful the thing is for those who don't know and only had the one thick piece of wood laying around. Thanks for watching and commenting much appreciated!!
