The fact Huggy is limping when he approaches but the second he sees it’s you he FULL SPRINTS at the door. He remembers. And wants to kill you.
actually? does he really?
No shit you dropped a box on him!
Honestly, I don't even think hugging is with the prototype, he just wants you dead, and will stop at nothing until he can be the one left standing in the bloodbath
@zman775fr
Huggy when he sees us: YOU!
At this point the only one I’ll ever trust is Kissy 😭😭😭. Girly protected and never abandoned us unlike the others. Number one hero 🙏🙏
She better not die
Fr she’s a true ride or die
Atleast she's still trying to keep herself together, If she dies...I'm gonna cry sm...I'm not ready to lose another ally
Dogday and Doey could also be our ally. Dogday called us Poppy's Angel and even Angel and if he was still alive and still had his legs, he would be a formidable ally like Kissy. Same with Doey, if only he didn't suffer multiple personalities disorder, he would be useful to fight Prototype. He is a broken character, he can shapeshift, amalgamate himself and Prototype wouldn't be able to use his body since he made from dough and his body can kill Prototype inside. From now on, Kissy is the only ally left but I think Huggy also might be the wild card to fight The Prototype and will redeem himself on Chapter 5 by making a great sacrifice. I predict Kissy and Huggy will sacrifice themselves to help The Player to kill The Prototype.
Agreed as she literally jumped forward to try to save us when the hole opens up without a second thought
I think one of the main reasons that the Prototype destroyed the Safe Haven was to get rid of Doey (force the Player to deal with Doey). Doey was definitely one of the toys that could probably fight him on a fairly even footing, and Doey's body makes him insanely hard to fight and practically invincible without freezing temperatures. The Prototype also didn't act against Poppy until Doey was out of the picture.
Damn your smart man but you got a point doey did say I’ll make sure he stays out so that has to be implying he’s a threat to the prototype
Damn smart analysis
The VHS did say that an angry 900 pound regenerating dough man charging at you full speed would cause issues.
Cause Doey a wrecking ball.
@@TaskForce-ql3bxyea 900 pounds that can turn into anything is crazy😂😂😂

i hate the little detail that kissy shakes and (seemingly) weeps when she hears the prototype through the phone😢
Probably because she traumatised after almost being killed by him
@Sebastiengornail2995or because she knew this would happen but she can’t talk
I don't blame her, Look at her state, She was already not in a good condition back when we got to see her in chap 3, and to see her get br*tally hurt like that just made it all the more sadder, and she lost her other arm 😔 Poor gal, Kissy can't catch a break (And i don't want her to, She BETTER be alive again in chap 4, I'm not ready to lose another ally, Seriously i was already sad when we lost dogday and doey)
And even after that the moment she realizes you(player character) are in danger she rushes to protect and save you 😭😭😭 i love you so much Kissy Missy i hope your Oka my baby 😭
Same. I felt so sad 😞
Having your organs removed, separated into different life support chambers leaving only your voice and advice left is a SICK concept (literally and in a cool way)
I swear with the first tank, my brain went to Jenova from FFVII.
Glad i eat something before reading this comment, I probably would vomit
Gah! Yuck! 🤢
If you think this is cool, I recommend the novel Unwind! It’s about taking kids apart bit by bit and keeping it all alive for other people to use!
Still doesn't make much sense considering Sawyer's still doing just fine even after the lungs and brain are destroyed.
whoever voiced acted for doey did a fantastic job expressing his emotions between 3 people and made a job to show he’s just broken and not evil
He’s voiced by Michael Kovach!
Bro he was somehow voiced by Micheal kovach, the same who voices n and Jax
@@lesliewilliams9273 Not to mention the violinist feline himself of Lackadaisy fame - Rocky Rickaby.👍
And Clay from Catching Up! Micheal K. is soo talented!!
Micheal Kovach is so talented wth!!!
Doey being completely made of 3 different children feels much more terrifying when realizing having more than one organism can cause a loss of control which shows when Doey is changing emotions.
It’s like swimming in a pool of consciousness and not knowing what’s in the water. You never know when you’re going to get sucked back under, and someone else takes control.
I felt bad for Doey.
It's a very clever concept and makes the character very unique. You've gotta feel bad for him though... Imagine sharing a body with two other souls. Multiple souls including their personalities in one vessel. No wonder he struggled to control himself, especially since those souls/parts are children and they never developed the understanding of the world like they would naturally when going through adulthood. It was brutally forced onto them in their horrific new form. Which would cause doey to develop this complex personality.
Agreed.👍
@georgianagheorghe8848Same here.
Doey''s end is by far the saddest one right now for me. Truly a horror recreated. I'd also like to think in the end when you use the crusher and he said "I'm Sorry" twice, it's the other two kids giving us an apology for their actions before their demise. This was a fantastic chapter and only hypes me up more for the next one now.
If not for Kevin, he could have been such a great ally for us. He quickly became my favourite character in the franchise, and even though I knew his death was very likely, I was still hoping he'd live.
Actually, it was Kevin who also was apologizing because you can actually hear it. He said I’m and then Matthew said sorry.
@@SlickDraco I feel like it would be more likely for it to have been Jack and Matthew saying sorry there, but that's also possible I guess
@@Jacobs_Space people need to stop demonizing Kevin just because he had anger issues. You have to remember he was a victim as well as the other two he did not want what happened to him. He had friends and he had his problems. He still had friends for him. no one helped him with his anger, issues or his temper because they just used him.
@@SlickDracoNo one used Kevin. They tried to be friends with him but were violently pushed away by him.
Kevin had severe anger issues, a ticking time bomb who would blow off on anyone and everyone at a mere whim.
His perfect counter was Matthew, who was truly looking out for everyone down in the depths and helping anyone he could reach. Its a shame that Kevin's persona forcefully subdued the other two at the end. I guess Kevin's urge to kill The Player had finally become uncontrollable at that point.
Not sure if it was intentional but when Doey turned into his monster form, we can see that two pairs of arms were trying to close their mouth while one pair wasn't. This probably signifies that Kevin Barnes has overtaken the other two personas, which further proves that he was the reason Doey went mad and tried to kill the protagonist. Jack and Matthew were probably trying to stop Kevin from killing the protagonist out of rage but sadly, they ended up dying in the end.
this is copium but i had a theiry that he could not be dead..but ratherin a sort of neutral state. But this is highly unlikely but i dont know ehat materials thr dough is made from, but playdough has salt in it,which will prevent it from freezing entirely and it will return it its consistncy after kneading..maybe he will come back
@@charliepuppy.Ok this is gonna sound bad but if Doey can return i do hope its without Kevin barnes the angry side of Doey since he basically fizzles out 1st after officially putting Doey down
Yeah… Just like he killed Jack’s parents out of rage (if you remember, Jack was the boy who fell into the dough machine and thus became one of the 3 children used to create Doey). Due to Kevin’s violent tendencies, Doey had a difficult time controlling his emotions. It seems to me that Kevin tried to dominate the other 2 children all the time, making it really hard for them to control Doey’s emotions. Having 3 children inside him instead of just one seems to have given Doey some form of split personality. I wonder if Doey will come back in chapter 5? 🤔

Sometimes it’s easy to forget that every dead toy lying on the ground is a literal child. You run into so many you get desensitized to that fact. Watching the playthroughs with that thought in the back of my head makes the whole experience even more unsettling

One thing about the Prototype, the voices aren't people he has assimilated because he mimics Poppy's voice while speaking to her. Also, if Ollie was in fact a real person, given what we know about the Prototype thus far I find it highly unlikely he would kill a child. My theory is that the Prototype can mimic voices he hears long enough, able to play them back like a cassette recorder. This is why he was also able to mimic Leith Pierre during an interview. I have a sneaking suspicion that "Ollie's" voice might belong to Theodore aka Catnap since he was a child that was in close contact with the Prototype.
That was my theory when chapter 3 came out. The fact we never heard Theodore talk as a child added to my thoughts that the Ollie voice was in fact Theo's. Add that Catnap aka Theo is dead it checks with the Prototype telling Poppy that there had been an "Ollie" but there wasn't anymore.
this all makes sense and i like your theory. i agree with our sneaking suspension, because Theo has so far been the only child we’ve been told about and had his own little lore before chapter 4. so it would make all the sense for the voice of “ollie” to be theo
Theory about prototypes voice is not a theory though. It’s basically what happened in the tape with Harley Sawyer back in Chapter 3.
The fact that Ollie knew what Poppy had just said at the beginning about the prison being hell is kind of what makes it obvious that he's the Prototype.
Ollie spoke to Poppy first right? So he most likely was another child used for an experiment. I think he was a seperate character who the prototype found out was friends with Poppy. The prototype didn't do anything to him, playtime did. I dont see why such a connection would be necessary in this case, the natural conclusion is he was just another child who became a victim of playtime. Connecting him to catnap honestly takes away from the seperate relationship the two clearly had at some point.
Ollie could also have never met poppy and been a random child the prototype mimicked as a way to get at poppy, wouldn't need to harm a child still.
When the Prototype is talking to Poppy, it kind of reminds me of a manipulative parent trying to get their child to come back. Especially at 43:00, when he said he was disappointed in her and continued to get her to come back really screams toxic parent-child relationship
First off love the Idia pfp, second, yeah the dynamic between the two feels a lot like a manipulative parent that uses a sickly sweet voice to try and gaslight and manipulate the child into coming back like you said. On top of that with the theory of the prototype being Poppy’s dad makes a lot more sense with how they interact. Hopefully they play around more with this type of dynamic (I’m going on a ramble.)
@@punchy4040 Yeah it makes sense too considering that the prototype only seemingly cares abt poppy, In a genuine way too, unlike catnap, If you compare this to catnap and prototypes relationship, the prototype obv didn't care abt theodore and just used him as a pawn, here, we actually see him talk to poppy, But he talks to her in a manipulative and twisted way
That makes me think that Elliott Ludwig is The Prototype himself.
@@fulgurblackhelm9383 That's actually a common theory rn! And tbh i like the theory, It makes so much sense in a way, Mechanical spider father and his doll daughter :)

I seriously think that was a toy version. I have hope that we'll get to see a bigger bodies one at a later time. 😂
Doey was one of the most complex mascot horror characters I've ever seen! His story was tragic and his concept was neat. His Boss battle appearance also looked horrifically cool.
But i can't wait for Huggy and The Prototype in Chapter 5.
Ikr? Something about the monster Dooey kinda reminded me of the monsters you'd find from Kingdom Hearts (especially the Unversed because of the heads in the mouth that showcase red glowing eyes)
I’d agree but I kinda wished that he was introduced earlier or stayed around for longer because his whole story felt rushed, he seemed kind of untrustworthy in the beginning, then you start to trust him, and I feel like *just* as you begin to trust him it all goes to hell and his boss battle begins again. I just feel like we didn’t have enough time to connect with him so that the boss battle would have enough time actually feel bad for killing him
Some mf said he's a golden Freddy copy like sthu 🤺
‼️I commented this on the original playthrough but I think it was a MAJOR cop out that they had the prototype delete all of the little ones. It would have been far more interesting if the game forced you to choose a side. Let all of the experiments live and side with Doughy and help them escape OR side with poppy and delete everyone. It was a major cop out that they took the choice away from you. Disappointed with that for sure.
@@WhitneyDahlinExactly what I was thinking while watching the playthrough, that would've been so good....
Fun fact, there actually IS a way to save that Nightmare Critter that the Doctor tries to force us to kill. There's a grapple point in the room that leads to a vent, and you can open the vent and make it out. Not sure if this kind of decision will lead to something later on, but there is an option.
if there a video on that?

CoryxKenshin took that path, the Doctor only tells you something along the lines of “Have it your way”, and I think it’s pretty much the same from there.

20:09 I think during that commercial there was a second when Doey bounced off a picture frame which turned into a Doey version picture frame. It had three Doeys: one hugging, one happy, and one upset. I believe it was a bit of foreshadowing to the three children inside Doey.
I absolutely agree. And there are a whole bunch more things that foreshadow it. His basic design has three hands reaching towards the center of his body. His boss phase has three heads in his mouth. And, now this one is a stretch, but the voice actor has 3 different voices based on who’s talking (the happy silly one, the serious one, and the angry one).

I literally only trust Kissy. She is just a scared child and seems to be the only normal one without secrets. I know she was part of Hour of Joy but she stopped when Poppy calmed her down. Giving Kissy a better nature. I hope she is okay.
She is definitely dead
@Lolmmm-d2i you don't know that. We don't hear anything and the only contact she would've had is the explosion which we see her 'live'. The prototype doesn't go after her beyond that.
Theres a very good chance she's alive.

Well, Poppy is also just a scared child , so where's your logic.
@@Xominus She ran away and kept alot of secrets. Heck I bet she still is keeping away more information.
I’d like to think Ollie was actually real when he first made contact with Poppy. But sometime in the beginning, the prototype found him and took his place. Which is probably how Poppy was captured before the player found her, she was lured out by "Ollie"
I believe the prototype mentioned this. Ollie was real, at one point long ago
@@streetman23 I hope you are doing well today 👍
@@streetman23 Makes me wonder if he was the dumped body in Ludwig's house that felt planted there to besmirch him.
Possibly. Chances are Ollie was real when he first talked with Poppy but... most likely she was in that glass box for a LONG time. Eather Ollie was a toy experiment, or he was already the prototype when we meet em.
This is possible but I think by the prototype saying the same line at the end of chapter 4 as said in the tapes: “ I will always be there for you” kind of insinuates that Ollie was never there,
Sure he always listens, but I think what that’s saying is he’s always been there
This is not to say Ollie didn’t exist : I believe he was real the prototype isn’t lying
31:22 there’s also the option of going through the roof through a grapple point, where you get to the same area. You also get slightly different dialogue for not following the order
Fr he didn’t even think twice
Is that so?
I thought that too
What is it?
I wonder if you can do that in the final doey scene as well
Doey's voicelines broke my heart during his bossfight. The one begging to go back home made me tear up honestly.
Doey crying out for his mom and dad during his fight, and saying he just wants to go home, is so heart-breaking.
the fact that Jack in a blind rage when Kevin's personality toke over Doey killed his parents as the mother tried to desperately reach him and no one was letting the parents out in order to keep Bigger Bodies a secret, Jack's trip to the factory ended up being the worst day of his life, it's hard to not feel sympathy for each of the three boys fused together into the most tragic Bigger Body toy so far.
These 3 boys deserved better...
Not to mention when he fell in the vat he was not only drowned but was also boiled alive while being shredded by the blades 😨
Riley too…poor girl..
@@charliepuppy. The forgotten soldier, It's honestly saddening to hear her journals
The fact that it took me this long to realize that Ollie just misses a "t" to be rearranged to Elliot... So I think that Elliot is the prototype and obviously knows Poppy is his daughter... That's why he cares about her in an odd way.
Edit : And Elliot was probably transformed because Harley knew he will do whatever it takes to stop him... So made him into the prototype and held him captive (I'm not sure about this part tho)
Can’t be, prototype is experiment 1006 and sawyer is experiment 1354 which of course is after the prototype was made. During the vhs where the doctor becomes conscious after his surgery he talks to Elliot. Therefore Elliot can’t be the prototype due to timeline conflict.
@@Deinowharfthat was leith Pierre talking to Harley in the vhs, not Elliot Ludwig
Its said in the story that rich was the prototype because he knew too much about the company and they didn’t want him telling authorities
I guess Prototype as 2 different people... a partly consciousness from Elliot or part of Elliot intelligence hence how well Prototype knows Playtime Co ....the other is that it couldve been Elliots wife but it eventually gave itself a body to use
This is exactly what I was thinking
Doey’s death was really sad because he was never truly a villain. If anything he did more for the toys then poppy ever did. Poppy isn’t a villain nor is she a hero. Shes a tragic hero if anything (so far) because no matter what she does, she fails. We also know Poppy isn’t telling us the full story and I don’t think we can truly trust her anymore. Then again did we ever trust her?
I think Poppy is the real villain. Remember the messages in the Vents from Chapter 1?
Danger, Stop, She can't be trusted, stay away from her, you will die, she's on their side.
Everyone seems to forget that, also whose side is 'their side' is Poppy really in league with the Heads of PlayCo? Assuming she can inherit the company her father made, weird as that sounds, maybe she trying to get an In by getting rid Of the Prototype and the experiment's that would prevent the PlayCo from starting up again?
Yeah, Tbh poppy's not a villain nor hero, She's just a broken kid like the rest of the experiments, She was never evil to begin with for me (Ofc the devs really like to make her an anonymous/gray character lol, But in my beliefs, She's still a good person for me (Not a hero, ofc), She's just trying i guess), Also yeah i agree, I really liked doey and his death broke my heart, I can't imagine those 3 kids suffering tr*uma :(

@@FLOOOOURRRR But her mind has grown even though her toy body has remained static. She is manipulative and desires death and destruction.
If I recall correctly, we've heard about the child called Kevin back in Chapter 3. One of the tapes in Home Sweet Home was a scientist talking about removing Kevin from Home Sweet Home after lights out, after detecting neural abnormalities in a recent check-up. It even mentions the name Experiment 1322 as Kevin was designated a subject for it.
OMG yes I noticed this a few days ago!!!! I even went back to the tapes!!! The tape in chapter four about Kevin happens directly after the tape in chapter three!!! I thought it was so cool!!!
Yes! I noticed it too 👍🏻
I KNEW IT THAT WAS THE SAME KEVIN FROM CHAPTER 3!!!
When I first here the name Kevin in his gameplay my thoughts was "Wait? Is this the same Kevin from C-3? The same kid where his friend saw him taken by the lap scientist?" And also finally that I'm not the only one who noticed this😂
Coincidentally both tapes about Kevin shows us a bed. The one in chapter 3 shows the bed in front view and the one in this chapter shows the bed in side view
Help I cant get the minion Kevin out of my mind when I hear this name 😭😭😭😭
According to me,
1. Chapter 5 will be the final chapter of this series, wrapping up the entire story.
2. The Prototype is Elliot Ludwig himself, who was transformed into the prototype by the scientists during experiment 1001, which explains why it has a special connection to Poppy.
The larger body experiments undoubtedly corrupt the human soul, causing it to lose its humanity, which may explain why The Prototype (Elliot Ludwig) is so dark and twisted.
3. Perhaps the Prototype is correct, and by the end of Chapter 5, all of the toys have died, leaving only the player to escape.
4. Perhaps the player (protagonist) is a high-ranking official at the company.
i doubt any of those are correct

I do like that it makes sense that they were wiped out by the PT however, as he's been shown to be merciful when there is suffering, like Catnap's end. Every toy down there was starving and just hanging around, not really living.

@@Vosslyn I didn't know
My theory is that Jack is the one who causes Doey's instability, not Kevin. Kevin, while quick to anger, was a very smart boy. Matthew's logical mind could easily reel him in, but Jack? Jack is a complete wild card. He wasn't specifically chosen to be part of the Bigger Bodies Initiative like Kevin or Matthew, Jack was added because of an accident that led to him falling into a vat of boiling clay. He wasn't put through any tests, he wasn't in Playtime Co.'s system, he was just a normal, young, sorta naive kid who died tragically.
I also think that it’s more so the instability of the three bodies and the misery he faced that caused it. Jack had a prolonged death most likely and when he killed his parents that probably screwed up his head. The gloomy child in doey probably balanced Jack out while Kevin got him moving and doing things, like starting safe haven.
@@wobblewokgaming655 Personally, I like this theory because it seems more plausible, plus the way you explained it makes more sense to me. And why would Doey be as mad as he was about Safe Haven being destroyed, if not all 3 parts of him cared about the toys/kids there? Also Kevin being intelligent is given a solid argument when hearing about him trying harder at the Game Station after Harley Sawyer/The Doctor personally asks him to.
Vat of acid poppy playtime edition 😂
Also I’m pretty sure in the Mathew note it talks about how he is able to calm down the kids and stop fights in playtime which might have even meant Kevin. He might not have been able to calm them both down at the same time since both were upset it’s just unfortunate that the one who took control was Kevin.
@@infamouse9263 Did you read the original commenter’s post?
30:48 Actually, there is a different route the protagonist can take. In the celling there's a hole and in it a grappack handle on which a player can grab onto in order to escape without sacreficing the critter.
EDIT: I learned that from JellyBean's playthrough.
I saw that too. I was curious if he would bring up the choice. I know it probably doesn't help much in the end, but I feel like it's interesting that they gave you this small choice.
i learned that from astral spiff but he only did it because he thought he literally couldent kill the critter cuz ofa bug
I found it from 8 bit Ryan’s playthrough
In superhorror bros playthrough he does choose the no death option. Either he forgot that part has a choice or he didn't feel like it was need in the video
@twistedtoybox-jp4lb I thought I remember him killing the little guy. So I didn't question him bringing it up as a no choice thing in this explanation. It's not like there were any guides to secrets yet

And in Chapter 4, Dr. White is voiced by Kinger's VA, Sean Chiplock! :D
I knew Pianosaurus sounded similar
On top of that, Alejandro Saab voices Jack’s dad in that one tape. Definitely a star-studded cast in this chapter.
I never noticed, but the two arms reaching out for the player in Doey's transformed state are Kevin's, while the other four that look like they're trying to keep away are most likely Matthew and Jackie's. And then their faces 😢
I honestly feel like, had FNAF not done the Mimic/Gregory thing in Ruin, then the theories of Ollie as the prototype might not have been as prevalent
My thoughts were more of Circus baby pretending to help in sister location
Yeah. Literally every TH-camr that played Ruin called out Ollie the minute he was introduced
I would like to bring up a reference Coryxkenshin made when Ollie came up, he brought up Atlas from Bioshock, and although that game isn’t as prominent today as other games it is a very legendary game, so even if FNAF didn’t do the Mimic/Gregory thing anyone who played Bioshock would’ve been able to draw similarities. It’s not much of a new idea that a helping hand in the beginning will turn on the protagonist later on, try to remember any movie, or show, or game where an ally in the beginning turned on the protagonist later on.
@@DolionAttercop-jm6ob That's actually what I drew similarities from. Oh it's a Frank Fontaine situation again.

That sounds very plausible. It struck me as completely wrong that someone who loves kids so much would ever accept what's happening here. "Help so many kids in the future" wouldn't matter when hundreds of thousands of kids are dying and being tortured right here and now. For someone who cares for children so much and clearly expressed how devastated she was to hear about the testing, it didn't sound right to me.
Her being blackmailed and forced into this position, with this tape as "evidence" of her compliance would make so much more sense than her randomly turning a new leaf. They needed to force her compliance or kill her cause she knew too much
What I love about Doey is that the personalities of Jackie and Mathew are similar enough that you can't blatantly tell which one is talking like you can with Kevin, but they are different enough that you can distinguish them if you try. Jackie is more when Doey is emotional but not enraged, and Mathew when he's especially stable or being self-critical. For example, when Doey dies and he cries while apologizing, that's probably Jackie. But that calm, pained "I'm sorry." is probably Mathew. Kevin's persona is obvious with his anger issues, bot Jackie and Mathew are also plenty unique.
31:34 actually you have two choices. Either shock the toy or you can save the toy if you look up at the hole on the roof and go up. A lot of people miss this one lol
I’ve noticed this as well, 8-Bit Ryan managed to see it and used that as an escape to see the doctor instead of terminating the plush toy
In all the playthroughs i watched, it infuriated me that no one though to look up at the ceiling at the very clear hole! Thanks for clarifying, i hoped there would be a second option for this section!
Coryxkenshin knew it
@ cory didn’t even need to try to find it lol
I watched Gab Smolders play it and she found the hole instantly, I didn't know most people just killed the poor thing
I'm somewhat disappointed by how the Doctor was handled. He was so hyped up and I felt like he wasn't as big of a constant threat as he could've/should've been, or as I thought he'd be. The boss fight was quite anticlimactic too; I would've preferred it if the sentries were more of a threat throughout the level, rather than just that bit.
Yeah, he was, and is my favorite character. Very dissatisfied at that.
I think that's the point, one cocky individual that thinks he's immortal imo its fitting
YESS, thank you. I can understand the idea of being tortured without a body but wouldn’t it have been cool if he made a body of scrap or something?? Like, something like Pickle Rick or Ennard, just a mix of scrap that forms a horrible entity with the mind of a sadistic scientist would be absolute awesome and would also make for a great boss fight.
@@DolionAttercop-jm6obhe could return like that in ch. 5

Fun fact! In the commercial for Doey, there's a phone number you can actually call. It has a coom but creepy message you can listen to.

I knew there was something that made me like Leith, but I didn't realize the similarities to cave johnson until now.
"I'm gonna burn your factory down! With the lemons"
Yeah leith is a really good villain, I hate him and love him at the same time ughhh....Heck he's probably even more intelligent and cunning than harley, Bro was the one who just gave harley a taste of his own medicine, And to add salt to the wound, He told him "Fight, or give in" (The very same sentence harley said to the prototype) 💀
Nah he has aura…
I have an observation about the ending: the view from the window was getting blurry and red smoke seemed to fill the room on our side as he hammered on the door. Also, HW suffered repeated blunt force trauma, so I have a hard time imagining those lacerations and missing arm are from us. Which brings me to my point: that isn’t HW. Red smoke causes us to hallucinate, so that could actually be KM and we’re simply seeing her as our frequent nightmare.
That's true, but HW appears to the player before the red smoke completely fills the room. And it takes awhile for the smoke's effects to start warping the senses.
So we might be seeing Nightmare HW for a longer time at first before dealing with him in the end.
But it would be cool to see HW and KM duel it out in "Nightmare" forms in the chapter. Hope our best girl wins and helps the player out of the effects of the smoke to get them back on track.
Huggy’s left arm is missing. Kissy lost her right arm.
@@sboy2044 One detail (I'm probably overexagerrating it tho lol) i find interesting abt that is that is huggy's left, Which resembles he was just left as cameos in chaps 2-3 (He didn't appear and he's pressumed "de*ad"), Like he's just straight up "gone", "Left", Or in a way, Wasn't able to hold on his sanity so his sanity left him and he went mad, While kissy was in the right path, still keeping her sanity and trying to be normal, I mean they are polar opposites afterall
@ I know, I’m just sharing an idea
@TVHead003 which I think is still a pretty cool and possible idea.
Hell could be both! XD just think of it. We run from Huggy but since we inhaled all the gas and still likely in it, we can't tell the difference anymore so if Kissy appears to try to help, the smoke warps her to look like nightmare Huggy and we run from her and then we run into actual Huggy and that's where the duel of two nightmares happens to see kissy thwart him enough to get us out to recover enough to continue going.
That'll be wild
now the theory of the prototype being poppy's dad is much clearer, since their dialogues comes like that of a manipulative parent controlling their daughter plus the fact that poppy's dad was the founder of playtime co. makes the name prototype have a lot more sense, what if they were trying to revive elliot ludwig but failing miserably that's why they proceeded with reviving his daughter instead(poppy).
This can't be true as Elliot lost his daughter before he passed. This is proven through VHS tapes and other scenes in chapter 2 (i think) where it says after a death in the family- it was hard for Elliot but he kept working. Its possible he wanted to put his consciousness into the prototype so he could be with poppy and also work forever at Playtime- Trusting Harley Sawyer to transfer him successfully. But Harley just couldnt get it right. Poppy was a fluke of nature for them and they just never have been able to recreate anything like her after Elliot's death. And I still wonder who the little boy is whose remains were found at his house. As it cannot be "Ollie" since its pretty likely its the voice of Theodore (Catnap) who was close to the prototype
I feel like the prototype is somebody else. The prototype is desperate to find a “cure” for Poppy. Elliot Ludwig knew how to move consciousness before Sawyer did. Therefore, Ludwig can’t be the prototype. Elliot would most likely know how to do this procedure. I feel like the prototype is Poppy’s mom. We don’t know much about her other than that she divorced Ludwig and is possibly dead. The prototype needs the doctor because they don’t have the knowledge or experience to “save” Poppy.
According to Isacx, the reason Pianosaurus and The Nightmare Critters were sparsely in the chapter was because they originally weren’t in the story the crew wrote for Chapter 4, it was mainly Yarnaby, The Doctor and Doey.
Wasted Potential
@ eh, I never cared for pianosaurus anyway
Personally i wasnt the expecting the NCs to play a big role from the moment i saw them, since they re just smiling critters reskins, so im happy they focused more on new characters. I personally dont mind the role the doctor got in the game, but the problem with this chapter was the marketing, they marketed the doctor and pianosaurus to be different in the game. For example for the doctor to be a robot and not a brain in a jar, and pianosaurus as a secondary antagonist, but he ended up being a plot device that was just there for 10 seconds.
@@thatanimegirlwiththecape4807 My personal theory was they made The Doctor a robo-boy to not spoil what we ended up getting, and also you can’t even really call Pianosaurus a plot device as he never really did anything for the plot other than being Doey’s snack lol
Ohhhh
I totally missed that secret Poppy tape where she reveals to be the incarnate of the late daughter of Elliot Ludwig, the man who created Playtime Co.! Ty for showing us that, Mike
Time stamp for anyone who’s wondering where it is 39:58
It's honestly saddening to hear that she misses him, I hc that he was too busy with his company and that he had zero time for his daughter :(
@FLOOOOURRRR Honestly that might actually be canon tho
My heart broke at Doey's situation. I teared up at his video. Reminds me of the voices that one might have about doubts, inter struggled to be okay and inner strength. This game is....dark but excellent.
i cant believe pianosourus got so hyped up but like 6 seconds of screentime
Man was done dirty. It's not fair
Yeah I feel you! I was also hoping we'd get to see either thr diplodocus toy or the box toy but hey we might see them later...
they do the same thing with the nightmare and smiling critters...
They weren’t apart the story
Same, I liked him
42:18 No, actually, the Prototype didn't "consume" Ollie, the Prototype is just able to mimic any voice it hears. This was shown in Chapter 3, Harley Sawyer (The Doctor) was talking to the Prototype and the Prototype's last words in the VHS mimicked what the Doctor had just said, "I learn something new about you every day". All it means is that the Prototype did hear Ollie's voice once a long time ago, where the real Ollie is now is unknown, I can only guess that the Prototype started mimicking Ollie's voice as a way to talk to Poppy since that's all the Prototype wants, Poppy, but it knows if it approaches or talks to Poppy normally, she'd be afraid or repulsed, so it used Ollie's voice to put her at ease and be with her as much as it could.
*shudders* throughout the whole chapter 3 up to this point revealing Ollie was really the prototype is just chilling. It means the prototype is following the protagonist and Poppy's plan this whole time. Including giving the keys to the protagonist around Playcare. It's insane.
When Poppy asks "Was there ever an Ollie?" the prototype replies "There was." implying the original is dead. Possibly consumed.
@@MeepChangeling which reminds me, why did the prototype killed the real Ollie? I thought he cared about the orphans? Unless Ollie denied him and then killed him?
@@MeepChangeling Or it could mean he left, there were genuine adoptions in Playcare. Or maybe Ollie wasn't an orphan at all and was just touring the facility like Jackie was. It's not in character for the Prototype to kill one child but spare the rest, that just doesn't make sense.
what if Mc is the actual Ollie but all grown up. It is a stretch but hey my mind is numb

25:49 THIS conversation is why I don't blame poppy for her freak out and leaving at the end. Imagine that bomb just being dropped on you.
Man, Doey's death is REALLY sad
Same idk why other people are mad at her for running while in a toy shell she's very much human
@@zamatesenpai8815 Probably because it's technically the second time she's done something to harm us, even if unintentionally (first time being her changing the train route in chapter 2). But, yeah, I haven't turned my back on her, either. She'll come back.
Plus, if she DID stay, there's no way she would have survived that explosion or the fall, being made of porcelain. Plus, if not that being the scenario, the Prototype would have DEFINITELY captured her and we would have been completely screwed. Her running away at least buys us time.
Fax!
I think what people get mad over isn't the fact that she ran away, but the fact that she get mad to the player for what's happened to Doey.
Fr, I think poppy freaking out after hearing she's gonna be put in a box again but this time she can't escape. She's scared and I think that's valid, after all she's also a kid in a toy body :(
Another reason doey might have lashed out is because Jack’s mother referred to herself as mommy, probably triggering some kind of bad memory regarding mommy long legs, he also says “the gentle voices lie” which fits mommy’s character to a T
But mommy long legs cared for the kids
Poppy Playtime always has deep secrets! 👀
I Think The Devs Have fully commited to the fact that their game has a global reception that isn't Mainly Kids Because This is Slowly Turning Into SCP : Containment Breach

If i had a nickel for every time i was deceived into believing i was talking to a child in a horror game, i would have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
First was the Mimic in FNAF: Ruin, pretending to be Gregory
Second was the Prototype pretending to be Ollie
According to me,
1. Chapter 5 will be the last chapter of this series which will wrap up the entire story.
2. The Prototype is Elliot Ludwig himself who was transformed into the prototype by the scientists in the experiment 1001, which also justifies why it has a special connection with Poppy.
The bigger body experiments definitely corrupt the human soul, thus making it lose the essence of humanity which may have made The Prototype (Elliot Ludwig) dark and twisted.
3. Maybe the Prototype is correct and at the end of chapter 5, all the toys die and only the player would be able to escape.
4. Maybe the player(protagonist) is one of the high ranking officials of the company.
5. Chapter 5 will be a face off between Poppy and The Prototype.
I'm with you on 2. It makes so much sense when looking at what we have so far, especially his connection to Ollie.
That said, I think our protag is Rich. He's clearly significant to the story in some way, and he has this arc of going from a dissatisfied but well-meaning grump, to the kind of manager that treats his employees with respect and understanding. He could have survivor's guilt and went back to Playtime Co to make things right.
It's all coming together though! =) I really hope Chapter 5 is the end and we can wrap up this story with a satisfying conclusion.
So for your point of our protagonist being a higher rank, I respectfully disagree! The doctor states that he wonders how our protagonist has never been noticed as we are such a rare talent and quite capable. If we were a higher rank then surely the doctor would have heard of us or Atleast known of us despite never seeing us. This is in no way to disrespect your statement! Just adding my own small tidbit
@@rainclouds3677I agree with you I personally feel like were playing as rich because why show us some random guys story that in hindsight doesn’t add anything to the story

It's still kind of funny to see Mike just take's Jack's nickname as his actual name.
Ollie [Tape]: Im here, Poppy For you. I'll always be here.
Ollie [The Prototype]: Im here, Poppy For you. I'll ALWAYS be here.
Good catch he loves Poppy in his own twisted way
I was shocked when I realized that. That is so fucked up of The Prototype to do.
@@BurningFlamesofDivineDragon No wonder why poppy fears him
I can't help but feel like this isn't the last we've seen of the doctor. He's such a significant character to the lore, and it's hard for me to believe we've defeated him that easily.
17:47 This is not true, since Doey is multiple kids in one bigger body, there can be different personalities for each of the three kids, so in the first few lines where he wants to be alone and asking his parents to leave in a fit of a rage is Kevin Barnes talking, Kevin is known to be a high-tempered child so that’s why Doey is very angry during this part. Also in the first part where he says the words “Who. Are. You.” Is Mathew Hallard because he doesn’t know his parents very well (I think?). At the end where Doey cries is Jack after he sees his parents get eaten alive.
Bro didn’t watch the whole video 💀
cmon man he literally explains this later in the video😭
Considering that all of the orphans are asleep, it really didn't add up that Ollie would still be awake. After all, given the sheer size of the prototype, he wouldn't last long.
i mean it could
The voice actor for Doey needs a reward.
Even in the intro when watching the Doey commercial, the picture frame featuring 3 versions of Doey... was a bit of early give away about his fate and the different personalities that make up Doey. I liked that quick lil detail tossed in for us... as sad as it is
I mean it was kinda obvious Ollie would betray us. I mean, why would a child still be alive and a KID when the hour of joy happened in the 90s and we go back in the 2000s
I've been said you can't trust Ollie, we didn't know what the f**k he was, but he knew where we were at in most parts of the game.
@entityunknown732 right?? If that isn't suspicious I dunno what is
Dude the prototype is poppy’s dad I’m freaking calling it
Yarnaby, The Doctor, and Pianosarus were severally underrated characters in this chapter. Also I'm sure everyone knew The Prototype was indeed using a voice like Ollie's.
They were so underutilized I honestly feel like chapter 3 is better than chapter 4
Yes! Thank you! I feel like with every chapter characters get introduced and then they just DIE, I understand that Huggy came back but it didn’t feel right, he just kinda showed up at the end as a final jumpscare. The Doctor could have been some cool amalgamation of scrap and stuff, trying to create a form to his own liking, Yarnaby could have had some cool trap system with yarn, idk what they could’ve done with the dinosaur, but I feel like Chapter 4 was just too rushed and some of the designs or mechanics weren’t used to the best of their abilities
@@DolionAttercop-jm6ob I wouldn’t go as far to say it was too rush, but only a bit. Mainly because the lore behind this chapter is interesting.

My theory is the prototype is the child they found the body of at Ludwig's estate. Seeing as how the body seems to be mainly mechanical, maybe only the consciousness was transferred. Could also be why he tells Poppy to come home, he feels a familiar sense with her through Ludwig.
the prototype isn’t a actaul person
@@ivopearceit is? And there is no possibility that he uses AI considering how the prototype was created in the 99's

I would like to say, that this was the most angsty chapter, of all time and for good 3 reasons of why
1. The little boy receiving the gift, Doey the doughman, that's the foreshadow and his fate
2. Olie's identity reveal
3. Chapter 4 itself
Mommy Long Legs remembered us. The doctor may not have seen every official from every department, especially after he became an experiment. Our character could be Rich - he has had multiple tapes in the series which don't exactly fit with everyone else. Rich appears to genuinely care about people. Also, I don't think the Prototype is Poppy's father Elliot Ludwig like many people are saying. Why would Poppy say she misses her dad and wishes he was there in the vhs tape? Doesn't make any sense. Poppy would know if the Prototype was her father, even if he wasn't exactly the same as before. OR the prototype is Elliot Ludwig and Poppy somehow just couldn't figure that out? I hope they give good reasoning if it goes in that direction lol. It's clear as well that someone patched up Huggy - the only one we know of capable of doing so is the Prototype. Either that, or Poppy has been the bad this entire time and everything has been manipulated.... thoughts anyone? 😂
Well, you made the choice to kill that critter. You don't actually need to kill it. There is a handle above the plug, and you can use it to escape through a vent.
for real? damn
Idk how most people don't see it. There's a yellow glowing bar at the ceiling where the mechanic has always been to hold it and go up
I absoloutly loved this chapter, it really showed poppy’s true personality. She only sees one plan, hers, and is willing to sacrifice anyone to suceed. And when it comes to it, she is a coward who her friends do everything for her
31:28 Though he may say this, there is another option that he missed. When he looked up to see a hole above there is actually a thing for you to grab on and escape. In a sense, this option would make you not play with the Doctor’s game and he has a unique dialogue if you choose this
If I remember correctly, you once suggested the theory that the prototype is Elliot ludwig. I'm starting to think that might be true. The prototype is obsessed with poppy, going so far as to mimic ollie for perhaps a very long time. He doesn't care about anyone else. And with the knowledge that poppy had a role in the hour of joy, I'm starting to think that if this theory is true, Elliot just wants her daughter back, no matter what he has to do to achieve that.
I support this theory sm, It makes sense for me, And i think this is the reason why poppy fears 1006 sm, Her father just went d3rang3d 💀 (Even to the point of putting her *back to her case, the very same prison that had her trapped for god knows how long)
Edit: Whoops i spelled back wrong
@@FLOOOOURRRR There is an off chance that if the Prototype is Elliot Ludwig, he could’ve put her in the case because he thought it would be a safe place for her away from the other toys. This is highly unlikely though, I just thought I’d put it out there that this might be a possibility.
@@DamseletteSimp If that's the case, He should've tried to understand his daughter because she doesn't like it, I feel bad for poppy in a way because again, elliot literally failed to try and understand his daughter :( But i can kinda understand because ig it's for the best
Still can't believe Huggus Wuggus returned in this Chapter. We knew he'd come back from the dead, just not how. This chapter was incredibly good and lit. Well done Mob Entertainment

I feel like the very start of the chapters with Jack falling into the clay REALLY set the tone of this chapter.
With the test from the Doctor at 31:11, killing the Nightmare Critter, you can actually spare it. There is a handle high up in the ceiling that you can use the grab pack and repel up.
I really like Doey's character and how they've written him to be of three souls trapped in one prison of a body. You can tell which persona is speaking whenever Doey speaks and you can clearly tell whenever a persona takes control over the main body. Such as during Doey's crash out after the explosion of the Safe Haven, I think Matthew tried to speak for a moment before Kevin took hold once more. Especially around the time before we crush Doey once and for all, where Doey states how he wasn't smart enough nor was he good enough. I believe that this part convey Matthew's insecurities asides from the tape where he speaks about how he has to be the one to be the one to help and lead smaller toys because he is the only one who can. And at the very end, when Doey apologizes to the player, this could be Jack apologizing for what he has done.
15:39 In this scene I think Doey is in his “cursed” or “monstrous” form or whatever you wanna call it because we can see the same type of hands that are used in the same scene where Doey turns his back on us. He immediately changes back to his normal form once he’s finished eating Pianosaurus.
The prototype mimicking Ollie‘s voice is very similar to security breach ruin because if you think about it, Cassie was tricked by the mimic because it mimicked Gregory‘s voice to lore her to the pizzaPlex to free it. Gregory says at the end of the DLC that he says that she shouldn’t have never came there the prototype mimicked Ollie’s voice to lore the player to Poppy. It’s just so crazy how these are both very similar.
Fun Fact: You can actually take an alternative route that has you spare the Nightmare Critter, just use a handle in a hole in the roof to slink through a vent.
I really liked this Chapter, even with the lack of screen time for the Doctor and Piano.
This chapter has a great story and fantastic lore, even though the notes and tapes sometimes go on a bit too long.
The bugs have been fixed know hopefully, but still my second favourite chapter.
Definitely feels that this chapter is certainly darker and harder, but it feels that there could be more for certain characters, especially Pianosaurus. Pianosaurus’ humiliating fate is probably foreshadowed, but it still deserves better. 😅
