Silicone can be repaired, it is done every day in feature film industry. You can use waker to glue it back or sometimes the same silicone used to make the hands with the pigment and accelerant
That would be extremeley useful - I never heard of waker glue, could you send me a Link maybe? ...I knew it could work with some fresh silicone, but mixing a new batch only for this seemed a bit irrational, especially as is closes up quite well by itself too... Thank you a lot for the info!
Haha, thanks - That really was a happy little accident. I had planned to insert a funny image or something, but then realized that the little girl on the t-shirt just is a perfect match.
Probably it would have worked fine, but it felt a bit risky because it oxidizes so fast and the animator's sweaty hands will touch it quite often I guess :D - I would have loved to make it with silver of course, but the project also has a really tight budget, so naturally they preferred the cheapest option...
Juggling all these projects seems stressful. Thanks for taking the time to post these updates.
Very impressive!
The thread cutting machine looks really interesting.
😂😂😂😂 the zoom at "c++ Toolchain" very relatable face
Also so sweet the happy beeb noise! 💟 Thank you

@@ValentinFelder Perfect! Great work as usual.... let's chat soon....
5:07 why was it not an option to use silver? I think in this scale it wouldn't be that expensive and it's a great metal to work with.
