The newest CS2 update broke all map guides. We have to wait for a new update for them to work again! The codeword has been solved. Congrats to @Mixxtrol!
I tried my hardest but I can't find any of the letters. I've almost got the feeling they didn't spawn in or something. Do you need no clip to find them?
@@chp617 If any of the grenade line-ups spawned, then the letters spawned as well. I must say, I hid them quite well to give a fair chance to anyone (so the first one to look for them doesn't automatically win), and also to make it an actual challenge. Two hints I can give: 1) Noclip will probably make your chances at finding them worse. You can see them all from inside the playable area. 2) They are all located near important positions/utility line-ups of the map. Keep your eyes open, while using the map as intended (actually practice the line-ups) and you will be successful. Good luck!
@@FNScence Yea I did it's really helpfull. I did not find a way to toggle all the line ups for 1 color. But am probably blind also for finding just 1 letter haha gg's to @Mixxtrol
I hope you find these map guides as useful as I imagine them to be, making my time spent on the creation of this practice mode worth it. Since the beginning this channel has been awesome. But this is beyond anything I ever expected. I stopped playing cs. But will open it just to check this out. Valve should officially support or at least recognise this channel!
I find you like 2 years ago and I was thinking, short and helpful videos, with content you can use in pugs or faceit. Banana Inferno is my favorite place thanks to you. I love your content, thank you for all your work
Sorry for bothering, but its not working for me anymore. It says "loaded" but no lineups are shown anymore. What button am i missing this time? sorry! :(
Hi, i loaded a map as suggested. Yesterday, the annotations for lineups were coming up. Today they are not coming up at all. I tried toggling the map guide on and off to check but still nothing. is there a change?
none of the annotations are loading for me. i think it was broken with valves update on the 18th. the radial wheel and all of that work fine for me so it should be installed correctly, since i also see the annotations in the correct folder location, but none of the annotations load when im in any of the maps.
Can you do De-subtick / jump throw / null bind(console command snap tap) in online game now? Did valve already disable those things? Or only in practice session.
Not working for me :(. I copied the files correctly, i see the wheel when i press M, but if i click on a map nothing happens. Do I need to setup a specific server or is a training game enough to start the cfg from there?
Clicking on the radio tiles doesn't do anything, you see? You open the wheel by pressing the bind (M for example). You hover your cursor over the tile, press and release M again to actually select it. That's the only way it will work, as the text in the radio wheel doesn't actually do anything. Pressing M again makes the tiles go blank, which loads the actual commands and releasing M will run them.
@@FNScence idk but it show in the radio only about selecting map with press M and nothing happens and when i type the command in console it shows in last line that set_viewmodel undefined
@@derive5777 Did you enable the practice mode before choosing a map? If not, it will use features from older versions, showcased here: th-cam.com/video/G9hAaifu2H0/w-d-xo.html
Most likely you accidentally placed it in the directory for the old game CS:GO, instead of CS2. Here is how to differentiate them: ..\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg ❌ ..\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\csgo\cfg ✅ Please read the FAQ on github, in case you run into more issues.
I accidently unpacked and put CSAFAP-config-package-main in the cfg directory instead of the CSAFAP folder within it, which is why I was getting an error in-game.
Save it first in a separate new file, so you don't overwrite what's already there, before copying it over. You can find which chunk you're currently on by using the alias getChunk and the setting chunk_debug_mode 1.
Sensitivity is changed to 1.0 and back to yours during auto-linup features. Your sens will be read the moment you exec csafap/main, so make sure to have your sens set correctly when doing so. This is also how to reset your issue.
@@eur0man Just delete the nullWASD.cfg from the movement directory and you're good to go. Or, you know, don't bind it or exec the config when playing on esea servers.
i get these error messages. I installed correctly and the files do exist. Im on linux idk if that affects it [InputService] exec: couldn't exec '{*}cfg/csafap/movement/nullWASD.cfg', unable to read file [InputService] exec: couldn't exec '{*}cfg/csafap/practice_mode/guide_off_labels.cfg', unable to read file [InputService] exec: couldn't exec '{*}cfg/csafap/practice_mode/guide_off_cmd.cfg', unable to read file [InputService] exec: couldn't exec '{*}cfg/csafap/addons/chunk_loader/main.cfg', unable to read file
I figured it out. for anyone who uses linux, since linux is case sensitive you will need to change csafap to CSAFAP in each exec line in the config files

If you follow the installation guide closely, you only set 3 new binds. To reset, simply overwrite these binds with other ones.

How do you make custom lineups?
It's in the FAQ on github, or in my original video about the config package, which is also linked in the readme.
