It's hard to put down the 2 hour Raw switch just yet. It was the first one after a major PPV with a major feud blow off, and talents were injured or taking the night off. There were pacing issues, but I don't think the Punk/Seth bit was a part of that. Smackdown doesn't need 3 hours though. It doesn't have the roster to support it. Raw has the opposite problem where there are certain talents that they're going to have to realize aren't going to be needed on a weekly basis, most of which were in that 10-woman tag match.

I haven't been actively watching WWE for the last 10 years to know these womans long term history. They are just bodies in the ring that I have zero attachment to. A 3 hour Raw doesn't change this. Maybe a 6 hour Raw would but that assumes HHH cares enough to ever flesh out woman as characters with promo time, vignettes, and saga like stories to rival or surpass Judgment Day / Bloodline.
I guess it's an unpopular opinion, but I prefer Raw being 2 hours. I can't remember the last time I was able to sit through an entire 3 hour Raw. I completely agree. I've disliked 3 hour Raws for awhile and I thought everyone agreed, but ever since the change was announced I've seen people wanting 3 hours.
I’m gonna miss all 3 hours when they move to Netflix lol. But luckily there’s still NXT & Smackdown is moving to 3 hours allegedly and the PLEs are staying on Peacock. They need to streamline all 3 shows to 2.5 hours each which will only be about 20-30 more minutes overall
This is what a lot of people wanted, lol. How else could they air more talent with the limited time slots. Jam up all the good & bad guys throw them in a multi tag match or 2-3 minute squash matches
This why I don't get why people thought Raw going 2 hours would make things better. However, i want to see how they are going to adapt. Since Raw has a larger roster than Smackdown because it has been 3 hours for so long. Everything last night felt rushed, the matches, backstage segments, the promos. No Judgement Day was fine to me, refreshing. I'm fed up of them. The 10 women tag match barely got crowd reactions because it was random, made no sense and there was no build up and no storyline to it. I was confused. Triple h doesn't care about the women's division. The booking is atrocious, he's just putting them in the ring just to say there was a women's match. Nothing to make people interested in them. Just random matches with no storylines.
They could've just got the Smackdown crew to run it because Smackdown knows how to run 2 hours. And what was with the 7 commercial breaks in the first hour?
Let them cook. It’s not going to be perfect right off the bat, and they do seem to listen to the feedback. It’s been 3 hours for over a decade, more than that, so it’s easy to see the rough transition.
Whelp, this was going to happen. That is why 3 hours is necessary when they got massive roster, if we can get approved, they should have made it 2 and a half hours of raw.
Steve! They taped 2 shows today because of Europe shows so maybe they condensed it and rushed everything because of that and maybe afterwards they'll give it room to breathe!
I was rejected by my crush in the 7th grade in 2012. I was even wearing plaid cargo shorts and my favorite Batman tee, don’t really know what went wrong there.
I do agree it a little rush but then again I thought what we got was solid overall like Wwe planing more seeds into Seth Rollins and Cm Punk and possibly Seth Rollins turning heel. In addition I thought the in ring wrestling on the show was really good making for a pretty good show.
We still saying Saudi shows don't matter? GUNTHER and Nia became King and Queen of the Ring in Saudi, Seth won the World Heavyweight Title in Saudi, Asuka and Liv have won Women's Titles in Saudi. Belt is ugly as sin but saying it's just because Saudi shows don't matter, they do now.
@@WrestleJuice saying "It's a Saudi show and they're not gonna follow through with it" gave me the idea the Super Saudi shows were being dismissed. I'm now remembering Fiend win the belt by pinning Seth on the floor near the stage. Weird spot for it.
I think we gotta wait until the rosters get sorted out. Theres too much talent on raw cause they had to cover that extra hour. Now its gone and they try and squeeze everything they were already doing into 2. The change would have made more sense after a PPV when they didnt already start 3 hours worth of stories and feuds.
0:11 I was like 2 so I genuinely don’t remember anything haha. My thoughts are pretty negative about this episode. The “Wheatley, we’re drinking Neatly” and that terrible TurboTax ad killed the show for me. The only good match was the Donnybrook match. Ads butchered all matches outside of Sheamus vs Dunne.
Hot take but if we are not gonna have survivor series smackdown vs raw then what’s the point of the draft it’s like what’s the point of a draft if they just gonna be like a tag line in a superstar idk it just has no meaning now they should mix up the shows not like super show but occasionally that would be cool

Did you just ignore my History of The "Real" history of the Royal Rumble video... I'm hurt Steve I'm hurt...
Let them cook. It’s not going to be perfect right off the bat, and they do seem to listen to the feedback. It’s been 3 hours for over a decade, more than that, so it’s easy to see the rough transition.
Can you guys do another reaction video to your old skits like you did for the anniversary that shit was hilarious
Hate when my favorite world champion wrestler gets called in for HVAC repair and misses the PPV 😭
Steiner did kinda look like colonel sanders 🤣
Steve they did a double taping of RAW 1st was Live 2nd will air next week
Shrinking pains for sure.
8:40 fun fact: Sean Maluta is a member of the Anoai family meaning he could be a member of the bloodline!
We had a post show up here in Canada, I didn't watch it but it was there
I did. It was basically recap and interviews. Kofi and Xavier were talking, maybe it'll come out as a digital exclusive.
i was about to start college in 2012
I was rejected by my crush in the 7th grade in 2012. I was even wearing plaid cargo shorts and my favorite Batman tee, don’t really know what went wrong there.
Raw should definitely be 3 hours. Tonight was a disaster
Genuine question here. Where tf are the Wyatt Sicks? They haven’t been on tv in weeks unless I’m missing something. Like what tf happened
Last I remember they were on the raw week of SummerSlam, maybe awaiting Alexa's return?
There were some teases tonight
@@mrwrestlingjr9820 oh we haven’t said that in five years. Since fiend won the title there.
@@WrestleJuice saying "It's a Saudi show and they're not gonna follow through with it" gave me the idea the Super Saudi shows were being dismissed.
I'm now remembering Fiend win the belt by pinning Seth on the floor near the stage. Weird spot for it.
Half of the matches were Picture in Picture matches during commercials.
Circle 6 also tried booking nic gage while he's in rehab
I miss the 3rd hour too

I was like 2 so I genuinely don’t remember anything haha. My thoughts are pretty negative about this episode.
The “Wheatley, we’re drinking Neatly” and that terrible TurboTax ad killed the show for me. The only good match was the Donnybrook match. Ads butchered all matches outside of Sheamus vs Dunne.
Hot take but if we are not gonna have survivor series smackdown vs raw then what’s the point of the draft it’s like what’s the point of a draft if they just gonna be like a tag line in a superstar idk it just has no meaning now they should mix up the shows not like super show but occasionally that would be cool
alot of people were missing the show only three people missing show made sense drew Bronson Braun STROWMAN because they are keyfabe injured but whole men judgement day and Damien , whole lwo including Rey , Wyatt six , final testament except karrion , American made , alpha academy they were all missing from the show is this good decision ? Is 2 hour raw good if these many people won't even get a tv time every week (people in this list will float I mean but this amount of people won't get tv time) and there were waaaaay too many commerical i hate picture in picture in any company btw but there was more of that here then dynamite
YA NEVER KNOW YOU HAD IT TILL ITS GONE, On a serious note it was always good to just have on and watch. Idk I just never saw the 3 hours being a bad thing no matter the product (as of rn) it was good to have it for others to get alil more in and it not be rushed. Plus it can be good background if you didnt care for something happening and shit lmao
Raw has been written to fill 3 hours, I think it's ok if the transition into 2 hours is a little strange at the start
Yeah may take them time to adjust. And I think it's only temporary.
Honestly, the whole 10 women stuff just felt like HHH trying to make the women's war games make sense because right now...there really is no reason for a woman's war games match
The show called out that couple who canceled their honeymoon to see Rhea, knowing full well Rhea wasn't going to be there lol
She was on the second show
I was there for the HIAC and I was laughing my ass off for the entire match and loved it but I hated the ending of course!
Thank you for reacting to cherry show wrestling for a second time ! :))))
Wrestling shows gotta be longer, not shorter
It’s the first show. I have faith hhh will get it together soon
I already miss hours 3
FICKLE 😂
No it should stay 2 hours.
No weekly wrestling show should ever be 3 hours long
Calling it NXT 2.0 didn't even make any sense. The 2012-2021 version that everyone loves was the second version of NXT.
They'll get it together.
They should have stayed at 3 hours till Netflix. Question is will Raw on Netflix have commercials or ads. If we get no ads or commercials on Netflix 2 hours would be great
Awful rushed pace, commercial breaks were unbearable, women getting short shrift, it’s a real bummer! 👎
I had WrestleMania 28 party in 2012
2012 I was in a bad love life lmao 21 year old still living at home working as a tree arborist . Love of wrestling fell off a couple years before this
I like the two hours
