You know, looking back on being ~22, it many ways it was a lonely time of my life, too. I had to spend a lot of time traveling at that age for work. I lived in New York, but worked in Pittsburgh and Washington DC which are many hours away. I was constantly driving between cities and would spend entire days alone with myself. I'm pretty social on my own, but the work required these long, long drives alone. And then I'd arrive and work crazy hours, often alone in the office and I had to focus and do so much work. It was a tough age. But I value the time that I got with myself for a few years there. I listened to a lot of books (on CD) back then. I grew my career, built professional experience, really developed who I am as a person. In some ways it was a very tough time. In others, it was very valuable and not really a bad thing.
Hii, I think for the most of the people this phase of tweentis (20-29) it feels kinda lonely and weird in the same way, you see your old friends living different lifes and going to different paths so it's hard to keep a friendship like it was back then in the school times... but you know, we kinda learn a lot living alone. And thank you for sharing with me! :) this kinda reminds me my father that works a lot, but don't forget to take care of yourself!! Now i'm trying to see this thing of being a lonely in a positive way.
keep going 💚
Also correct: the doctor's appointment. That's exactly how we say it (USA.)
