This has to be my absolute favourite anime insert song of all time. I really wanted to make this the best arrangement I've ever done thus far, experimenting with some new techniques to find the sounds I that I felt could convey the energy of the song best. This is by far the most difficult song to arrange that I've ever attempted, but I've learned a lot from it and it feels great!
While I still feel like I'm not doing this song full justice with this performance, this is me squeezing out every last drop of my ability and pouring it all into this piece, and it's really the best I can muster at this point. And for that, despite the mistakes, I'm pretty proud of how it turned out!

Man, this is so cool to hear on the acoustic guitar. I'm genuinely surprised of this speed. How should I even practice playing 190BPM with fast fingering, perfect control and technique as yours lol. Anyways, great cover!
Thanks man! What you're not seeing here is the dozens of retakes it took to finally get what you see here 😅 As for practice, what works for me is to start real slow and focus on one thing at a time (like precision/technique/rhythm) and then move up in tempo as you get more comfortable. Emphasis on focusing on one thing at a time! Keep at it! 💪🏻

Thank you! I started out attempting to imitate my favourite TH-cam fingerstyle guitarists with the help of the tabs they also provided for free, and since then it's pretty much been the only thing I've ever done for practice before I started arranging my own covers 😅

Thank you! 😊 And yes I'm fully self-taught! The very first steps I ever took on the guitar was attempt to play a song I liked from tabs instead of first learning any proper technique. Definitely not a start I'd recommend in hindsight, it was like trying to run through a brick wall before learning to stand on two legs. After a lot of experimentation I somehow naturally settled into using mainly my thumb and the last 3 fingers, and it has stuck ever since 😅

I actually did attempt to do "Rock n' Roll, Morning Light Falls on You" quite a while back, but I just couldn't get it sounding the way I wanted it to so I'm sorry to say that I kinda dropped it 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I really love that song though, so maaaybe (and that's a big maybe) I might come back to it in the future if and when inspiration hits!

what sort of practice did/do you do to reach that level of right hand dexterity? I couldn't imagine being able to half as fast as you can while still hitting the right strings
My entire guitar journey has been just playing tabs, imitating how other people play and doing a lot of trial-and-error to figure out how to make the sounds I hear from them. The dexterity I guess comes from attempting to play songs over and over again until they sound good and clean. For any piece, I'd use a metronome, play it at a slow speed repeatedly until I can play it comfortably, then increase the tempo slightly (by like 5 or 10 BPM) and repeat. I've been playing for years, so it does take time to build it up, but you'll eventually get there!

Hey there. I´m currently working on your version and have noticed a mistake in your tabs: Right at the beginning, second measure you wrote 222 33 2 instead of 222 44 2.
Nothing serious but I thought you might want to know this.🥰
If you have a lot of patience, I will go through the tabs, as I learn them and send you a corrected version.
However, this will take a looooong while, since I´m learning completely new techniques (percussion) and feel like a freshman.😅

I can't tell if this was a mistake on the video or tabs, but you wrote:

When on the video, you played:
--7--10--7--12--10--5/7
It was on the intro section and around the end as well, basically everytime there's a 9, you seem to have played 10. Which one is it supposed to be?
