    I highly recommend anyone reading this to read vagabond. It’s a manga that’s about musashi. It’s more than just beautiful art work. The story telling is top tier. Truly one of my favorite mangas

    “Know the enemy as yourself and you will never lose in 100 battles”(Art of War: Sun Tsu) and of course “Perceive that which cannot be seen with the eye” Musashi Miyomoto.. kept me alive in the Marines in Iraq March 19th 2006. My understanding of the local life, it’s people and my intuition is what saved me. I’d otherwise be dead today. I wish you all well. Study of the human experience on this level never goes without reward.

    At one time I was walking on the beach with my midsized surfboard, six pack and well maintained body. That's all I needed to do to attract the women.
    Now that I live in Oklahoma, I don't work out and I just play games mostly. I don't get that kind of attention any more.
    The only reason why I was awesome in the beginning is because I wanted to surf Nazere. I wanted to be in the best possible shape, so that when it was hurricane season I could paddle out, and surf with some of the best. Everything else that I was getting at that time was just a side affect.
    What I'm saying here is that you need to find something that you really want and push hard for it and everything else will fall into place.

      @@jonomakim4310 Yeah, life isn't meant to be lived like this, but it's the addiction to games and the loss of hope that furthers the pain. The only way I can go home is to start a business, and I'm not sure if I can do it. I had something going with Amazon, and Etsy, but it fell through do to some financial difficulties.
      "The mind is its own place; in itself it makes heaven of hell, and hell out of heaven".
      ~John Milton
      That's to say that the only thing I lack is the funds to go home, so maybe it's all in my head ha-ha.

    • @WildsDreams45
      @WildsDreams45 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DJK-cq2uy I lost my truck, I lost my board quiver, most of my clothes, my savings for a boat, lost my friends, lost my job at Pepsi driving a delivery truck, my healthy diet, and my lifestyle that revolved around surfing. I even lost the only woman that could hold me for hours in a conversation. I guess I have a lot to complain about, but I saved my daughter from a life in the ghetto so it evens out somewhere. It was a big sacrifice.
      I don't know anything about my pants catching on fire or playing a Gameboy in the basement, but what I do know is that computer games are a lot of fun, and a great way to distract from misery.
      Everyday my daughter see's me doing two things. Playing computer games or listening to one of my playlist looking over old photos while I watch other people surfing some of the areas I use to surf. It's depressing. However, I'm robbing her of something amazing everyday that I don't take any action. She knows these spots, she knows of some of the people who surf there. She recognizes the people in videos. I tell her of the surfers, of sailing, diving, I talk about the sea turtles, the whales, dolphins, the tourist, the festivals, the waves, the sun, the fish, the restaurants, the attractions even the sun burn. It's almost like I'm getting her ready for an exam.
      Doing what's right is hard, and climbing a tall mountain you fell from is even harder, but it is possible. Maybe someday I'll come back to this comment and talk about how I did it. Who knows.
      Hopefully these long winded comments might actually help someone else going through a tough time.
