    I know this video is old, I came across it and enjoy your videos so I watched. I just want to say that I love your style and just like you I love the fashion styles of the 20s, 30s 40s etc. find them to be very feminine and classy. All the items you purchased look beautiful on you., when you wear them is like having a vision back to that era like in the movies. Thank you for sharing your finds with us truly enjoy it.

    Love both the thrifted dresses, I think both look amazing on you, both are great style wise, I bough a stunning pair of 1940s shoes and I got 10% off

    I love the silk dress on you. Maybe consider a thicker belt with it too.

    • @CarePinglo
      @CarePinglo  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you ! I don’t really find thick belts flattering on my figure, but I could give it a try! Maybe a fabric one would be better if it’s thick !

    Please, after the holiday content, can you show us how you set your hair and how you maintain it through the week????

    Watching this video for the second time! 😊 I watched this as I was doing my makeup to go Black Friday shopping at my favorite antique mall. I found some beautiful Christmas decor items but my favorite was the 15 inch nutcracker 😃. He’s so beautiful! I love nutcrackers and I’m just starting my collection. I’m pretty new to your channel and I really enjoy your vintage finds. 😊

    I'm so glad you're appreciating and using vintage fur! You look stunning in the styles of the 50s and 40s, to me they are your decades as the 30s was still very conservative, drop waist, and long length. Your figure is too fabulous for that!

    • @CarePinglo
      @CarePinglo  ปีที่แล้ว

      I love vintage fur! it looks amazing and its also REALLY warm! I wouldn't buy it if it was new but since its vintage I don't see the issue. Ah but the styles from the 1930s are so beautiful! I also love the 1920s!

    With that hair And make up You look like Dolores del Río 😊 I liked the coat and the vintage fur, is ok for some people get it second hand, personally I don't mind getting fur, wool or leather, or if any other person wears it, is their money, And the coat gave me María Félix vibes 🧡 (I am mexican) all beautiful! 👑

    Aww that crochet apron! And that old album with a dog aww! Soo cute! Also love the gloves and that dainty black bag 🖤Carolina you said no more haaatsss! 😁 Hmm that dress is definitely cute and pretty, maybe try with brown belt? I don't know maybe black accessories might be too harsh? I'd keep it regardless!

    • @CarePinglo
      @CarePinglo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I love crochet aprons they are so cute !! And LOLLL I KNOW !!!! But they were so cute !!! I agree that black is a bit harsh but the buttons are black! Maybe I should change the buttons to another colour ???? Then I can use another coloured belt ! That’s an idea ! I think it’s nice for day to day wear !

    Loved your clothing items! Gloves are an seriously overlooked accessory. So pleased you are wearing and enjoying these. Ditto with the lovely hats, they can totally make an outfit. The tan and the satin dresses were gorgeous ,and that fur coat was the best - a great bargain. Since the pandemic, thrift prices have doubled in the United States: $6.00 items are now $12.00, coats Fur coat like your would have been 80 to 100 dollars. I worked in a fur store and know the quality of a piece just by looking at it's details. The cuffs and collar on yours indicate it was expensive. Glad you rescued it you looked lovely in it. I love your vintage fur collection. Hope you get to enjoy them all your items frequently. Thanks for enabling us to enjoy your lovely treasures; eager to see how you style everything.

    • @CarePinglo

      Totally! I love gloves they are so underrated! some thrift store prices are absurd! I was there yesterday and saw H&M dresses for over $30. You might as well get them new from the store. I thought the price was fair for a fill length fur coat and it has beautiful details! Thank you so much !

      @@CarePinglo thank you for the reply. I just finished watching your Week Two 2017 Vlogmas - such fun. Can hardly believe I've been watching your videos that long. Just bought a packaged gingerbread house after seeing you do that in your last video to give as a pre-christmas gift. Thanks for showing this, I had never seen it before. Love your work.

    Oh, that silk dress is my favourite, an absolute keeper for sure!!! And WOW, that fur coat is stunning!!!! 😱😍
    My best guess for those clips on the fur trim might be so that it can be attached to the lapels of a coat, maybe? So that it doesn't slide off 🤔

    • @CarePinglo
      @CarePinglo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm not a big silk person but I liked the dress! I think I'm going to keep it!! 😊 I is bad that I want the weather to get colder so I can wear the fur coat! Its about 7 degrees right now so not cold enough yet! Oh thats an idea?? maybe thats what the clips are for??!

    This was such an enjoyable video to watch. You look beautiful in everything you put on , so the last dress I think you should keep. The brown dress with the fur coat is to die for, oh my gosh, you look gorgeous! You have a perfect 1930's face, so you will look authentic in any piece inspired by the 30's..

    I bought a vintage faux fur coat and it’s taken me nearly 2 weeks to get the smell out 😭

    • @CarePinglo
      @CarePinglo  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah some have a "stored" smell to them. If you air them out for a while it goes away. I've heard spraying coats with vodka gets the small out but I haven't tried it!
