I’ve made many good friends on your channel and have been immeasurably enriched as a consequence, plus the most important thing in three years with you, you have turned me into a good graphite artist . The skills I’ve learnt from you I have applied recently to pastel pencils and I know despite being only on my second drawing that I’m turning out good high quality work, is this being boastful or lacking in humility.... no it isn’t because I know that I owe it all to you, and people should be aware of what you are doing for all of us who have the will and determination, I will also be doing this lovely drawing, learning ink now lol

I only started drawing a month ago. I left it late in life at 53 years old! I've always been one of "I can't draw" crowd. But I got some paper, pencils, blenders, erasers, etc and made a start. I've been watching a number of your videos and I'm learning from them, so I thought it only right to sign up on Patreon, which I did yesterday. I really appreciate your commitment to the videos, which really help.
Wow ! Nice ..... Dynamic tonal range and I love the thought of using ink in the fore-ground and graphite in the background . It adds so much depth and atmosphere !

Just to add I'm new to pen and ink and I'm now on portrait 4, I messed up, the 1st couple I tried a ink rubber and he is right it started to damage my paper.
