I know I am late to the “party” but I just want to say whoever may read this, and whoever may listen to this wonderful creation, I just want to say no matter how bright or dark of times you may be in, never give up. If you are sad, use it to persevere through, if you are mad use the anger to accomplish great things, if you are glad, spread the joy and make the days of everyone around you just a little better. I know I am not the wisest person, nor am I the kindest, I have had my day and i have done things i wish I could take back. I said some hateful things to my mom out of rage before she got sick, she died shortly after, I never will forgive myself, but I use those emotions to relate to other and help them. You don’t have to take my words to heart, but nonetheless the past is the past, don’t dwell on it but never forget it, like a river the past flows with great, but gradual force, if you forget the past, you dry up a lake which could cause pain to others around you, use the past to forge a path that you can use to do great things. I hope everyone has a blessed day, and to the creator of this music I just want to say, thank you. I honestly love this.

I'm a Sophomore in College who's always had a knack for overthinking... everything... I have always been worried about my friends - if I had friends - and if I find the line between success and joy. If I leaned to joy too much, like the rest of us, I'd become oblivious to what reality calls us to do. If I lean toward success, will I see myself joyful when I have a stable lifestyle as an adult?
When I listen to the music of any version of "River Flows in You," it puts me at ease. I only listen to the flowing of the keys, or whatever instrument holds the unforgettable ear-worm of a melody. Then afterwards, I gradually feel that lack of desiring control. I can give my burdens away, my worries, and lose myself in the peace of a rhythm I don't need to control.
Music doesn't solve all my problems, and worrying won't quit until I take action; I do in fact follow Jesus, but that's not the concern here.
Once again, thank you for giving us a place to let our words out on a screen. It's a small thing and doesn't function like real-life actions, but it is always approved and - from me to you - highly appreciated.

It's a different version, a different video, a different kind of quotes and a different time :P the other ones are the original one, the orchestral one and a higher-pitched one, which I made because the original one got baned for some weeks but I decided to let them all online and make a new one - this is a cover btw :)
