AIWAYS U5 range test and fast charging test. I did a range test with the AIWAYS U5 with the 63 kWh battery pack. I will review the range on the highway to find out the minimum range of the AIWAYS U5. I will also do a full range test at lower average speeds to find out the maximum electric range of the electric AIWAYS U5. I will also do a charging test at a DC fast charger to find out how much range you gain after a charging session of 30 min.

The questions that I asked myself about the AIWAYS U5 that I wanted to answer in this video, were: what is the real life minimum range of the AIWAYS U5? What is the real world maximum range of the AIWAYS U5 with the 63 kWh battery? I also wanted to know what is the charging time of the AIWAYS U5 at a fast charger?

I actually like that this car has no start/stop button. You just get in, step on the brake and you can drive (but have to wait 40 seconds before Carplay connects). When you want to turn off the car you just get out and lock the car - super simple.

Nice short but detailed video! I have ordered my U5. I am expecting it to received by mid November. they told me year 2022 build cars will come with 11kW onboard charger and charging plug will be vertically placed compared current horizontal one. I do agree the charging speed in general is slower compared to other cars but for the offered price it is something I felt I can overlook. Excited to see how it goes in real.

Apple carplay zeker. Android auto ben ik niet 100% zeker, het lijkt van wel. Er zijn echter tegenstrijdige berichten hierover en ik heb het zelf niet getest.

De eerste U5 had een 1 fase lader aan boord, tegenwoordig 3 fase!
