Only 2 km from my native village. During elementary school days more or less daily used to go to KK beach to play. During 50s & 60s no rocks were on the b|ach. Black & red sands can be found on the beach. No rock memorial there. Visited the rock lot of times to play then. A fisherman uncle, George used to take us there in his kattamaran & take care of us kids, while on the rock. Gandhi memorial was constructed in such a way, that during Gandhi Jayanti at noon, sun rays will pass through the holes on each ceiling & fall before the place, where his ashes were kept, before immersion in the sea. Old memories. 3 girls of my sister's BCom students, who were studying in Nagercoil lost their lives during the 2004 tsunami 😭

food is worst in kanyakumari, pls come to nagercoil and have food or the rooms you book at bharat seva sang or any north indian accomodations, they provide high quality of food at affordable rates. We had a good food at bharat seva

How was the cab driver, was he supportive cooperative for the timing or was he rushing any time. And it was his own car or travels agency's he was driving. In description there are 2 numbers so thought to confirm one is travels or another driver or both are travels agency's. Asking just because it would be helping someone in need🙂 directly paying instead paying agency and they pay less for driver

Kanyakumari is the best place to visit. I recently visited madurai and rameshwaram. The worst places to visit are pamban and places near rameshwaram. Too deadly smell. I am so sure the persons nearby rameshwaram will definitely become ASTHMA patient.

Hi Anurag ji.. I think smell is everywhere is south Indian ports because of Fishes but we didn't find pamban smelly at all.
