hi joe, fun dvd and blue ray hunting, probably some titles worth buying someplace in those boxes. one dollar is pretty reasonable i think. thanks for taking us along, always enjoy these flea market outings! take care, rob
I love wandering around flea markets looking for cultural artifacts. Most of the time I don't find anything worthwhile. But occasionally I'll find a Criterion or a really obscure title. A lot of folks sell DVDs and records that are in terrible shape.
A lot of my 2,000+ movie collection have come from used discs (library sales, antique malls, and flea markets). I also tend to gravitate to the BDs, though, nowadays and only skim the DVDs just because there’s usually too many, they take up more room, and if I really like the movie, I want it in a higher quality.
Yeah the thing with especially buying them new imo is that the price gap between DVD and Blu-Ray is so small that I pretty much always would rather just get the Blu-Ray when possible.

This was worse than opening a pack of 1990 Upper Deck…out to pick up some Dramamine!
Yep now Blu-Ray at 4 for $1 would be a deal 😆. DVD is pretty much phased out as we know.
I think I've seen better titles in the Walmart $5 bin.
