@@approachableplantsbyjessie495 i think the one you gave me is a normal pothos (i’m clearly no expert tho i couldn’t tell ya) but no i still have her and she’s thriving! she just sits on my windowsill now though instead of in a hanger
E. Aureum 'Jessenia', Scindapsus Pictus Exotica, Scindapsus Pictus Silver Lady, Scindapsus Pictus Treubii Moonlight and E. Aureum Snow Queen are some great ones to add! The Scindapsus Moonlight is just a bit thirstier than other scindapsus, from my experience.
I'm so glad you got your Global Green! I still don't have an Emerald Green so I can't speak for it, HOWEVER, the Global Green has a high chance of getting what I call "lightning variegation", just very thin, spindly streaks of variegation which is nice. They're also, as far I'm aware, the second most likely Epipremnum Aureum to throw out sport variegation! Neons being #1 of course. I've only gotten the creamy, sometimes even an almost pure white, sectoral variegation on my Global Green but recently I've seen someone with a marbled Global Green and I've fallen in love with them even more. Plus, I really do believe that Global's are the hardiest E. Aureum that are commercially available in the states.
I’m so excited too! I’ve been wanting one for such a long time and I’m so happy the prices seem to be coming down. I’m shocked to hear they can throw out almost white leaves though, I had no idea!
I got a very full 8 inch pot of global green at ace hardware in Florida. Mine has been pretty fast grower so surprised and absolutely in love with it! So happy you got one they are gorgeous
Scindapsus are amazing! Look up the silver queen they are amazing and I hope to have one soon. If you really want to drool look up the tri color, I ordered in some wet sticks and they are taking their time and were not cheap but I have finally gotten some growth. Love your videos and the constant struggle of Tofu vs new leaves. ...Im rooting for the leaves but also cant help but be amused.
Oh god that tri color looks incredible I can’t believe I’d never heard of it before!! So out of my budget but I’m definitely adding it to the wishlist! Tofu is a menace to society and plants everywhere but it’s not even worth it to be mad, she’s so sweet
@approachable plants [by jessie] I don't know if you remember me talking about my Silver Sword and how underwhelmed I was with it. I moved it to another spot, another pot 😍 And same with my Japanese Stonecrop. It was in a 5 inch hanging basket and I basically ignored it. Moved it into a round white ceramic pot in the spot where the Silver Sword was, WOW. It's so weird how you can just move a plant or the decor pot it's in and you just fall in love with it. And pink is your colour 💗 Thanks for listening
I do remember!! I’m so happy you were able to fall in love with it! I really think the color of them is so nice I knew it was a matter of time until you grew to love it
I am waiting to find a cebu blue! It so cold so I'm waiting for the weather to warm up before buying online if I don't find one in stores soon! I got a micans couple months ago and it got held up at the post office and it was not looking good. I ended up cutting every stem off & tried to propagate it. The mom plant finally has some new shoots coming out i was able to save the roots which looked amazing thank gosh. But the cold weather ruined every leaf I was so sad but I'm glad my wet sticks are propagating well every wet stick has a leaf coming out so soon I'll have a little baby micans super excited about that but yeah I'm definitely excited to get my hands on the cebu blue. I want it to grow up a corkboard so the leaves can get bigger!
Jersey is definitely far away from Seattle and I know that the east coast is having some gross weather right now but I totally will once you think the weather perks up. Just reach out!
Lucy from Seventh Heaven?? I’ll have to look her up, no one has ever said that before!! Embroidery is a hobby of mine but I’ve been reluctant to show them on camera because I really don’t consider myself proficient in it, I sort of just do it for fun. I’m nervous other embroidering people will judge how they can sometimes be messier than I would like
@@approachableplantsbyjessie495 I really get you! I have done a little bit of embroidery, I've only finished maybe 4 bigger projects and started a few more - I got quite into "needle painting" and I never felt like it was quite neat enough, maybe that's a thing we have lol idk. I find I pick other crafts up rather than embroidery these days though. And do look her up! I don't know quite what it is but every time I see a video of yours I see it haha
Lowe's is doing an insane clearance; 75% off. They have Global Green for $5 in a Trending Tropicals pot. I am a pothos killer and left them there for someone who will love them. As far as Scindapsus, I only have exotica and Truebii moonlight. The latter hates me and life in general. They were both $5 for a 6" pot and 8" basket. I love my Exotica; it's no trouble.
I've recently come to terms with the fact that scindapsus don't do it for me - with the exception of the Exotica, those big leaves are to die for. LOVE the Cebu, hoping to get one this year!
Love all these plants, they’re all beautiful and so are you :)
Love you🥺
I absolutely LOVE the cat cameos!!!!
She’s really the star of this channel let’s be honest😂
you not having a golden pothos when its one of my faves I own is my villain origin story
Didn’t I give you you’re golden???
@@approachableplantsbyjessie495 no i got her from walmart😭
Didn’t I give you one???? Did you kill it? I swear I have you a golden in a terra cotta pot and hanger?

I think it’s a golden. If it’s getting less light it could definitely just revert back to all green

I love my scindapsus & pothos so much I have multiple....😳....and want to keep getting more....
Me too!!! They’re so great once they start to trail as well
Love all your plants- I also heart my Global Green! They are so amazing! (Got mine at Walmart!)
14:54 is a Silver Splash, you're right! Silver Lady has more of a leopard-like pattern and are a bit more expensive last I knew.
That’s what I thought but I wasn’t sure. Thank you!!
Highly suggest getting a Scindapsus Exotica! 😊🌱
I know they're on the common side, but those palm sized leaves though.. 👀👀👀😍
Ugh yesss. I used to have one before I moved. I definitely need to get another they are so pretty

The scindapsus you have seen with leaves the size of hands/plates are most likely exotica. They get pretty big, even when hanging.
I love my neon but my golden varigated is just goin nuts lately I'm gonna have a whole new one with all the props I've been doing.

Wait really?? Oh my gosh I’m on break this week I’ll have to hit up lowes a few times and see if I can score one!
I just discovered the Jade Scindapsus at Kent East Hill Nursery and had to get her. I have never heard of it before.
Oh my god Kent East Hill is incredible. They get so many rare plants in stock that I’ve really only seen available online, it’s incredible

I will admit some of the scindapsus are a bit bland. But the jade’s deep green leaves really are stunning imo
I've never clicked a video faster 😎
Ahh thank you!
