I think Burrow is 2nd to Mahomes but Bengals have a young, young defense that has gotten better since the start of the season. Chiefs roster is full of veterans on both sides of the ball along with a great coaching staff. Ravens, Bills and Chiefs have a lot more to work with than Bengals coaching and personnel.

If you get a top defense, you have to give up pieces on offense like Chiefs trading Tyreek and building a defense instead. You can't build everything up and pay everyone

I think Burrow is 2nd to Mahomes but Bengals have a young, young defense that has gotten better since the start of the season. Chiefs roster is full of veterans on both sides of the ball along with a great coaching staff. Ravens, Bills and Chiefs have a lot more to work with than Bengals coaching and personnel.

The wins are so overblown. The bengals are like 5 plays away from being 12-4, if not better. You could change a single play from the patriots, chiefs, ravens 2x, Steelers, chargers and commanders games and those become wins. And most of those plays are either on the defense, refs, or the kicker.
The Bengals have a fourth place schedule in 2024, from the fourth place finish in the division in 2023. Their schedule is anything but "brutal" Paul.

Everybody has to give andy reid more credit. The reason the cheifs are who they are is ANDY REID. He's been successful no matter who they lose or gain his whole career as a head coach. Put mahomes on the cowboys over the years, i think their results dont change much. Andy reid won divisions with bad quarterbacks. He gameplans to get the best out of his players.
Andy Reid is great. But people have forgotten what was said about Andy before Mahomes. Andy had zero superbowl wins and zero conference championship appearances in KC before Mahomes. People lack the ability to isolate the player intellectually. The second you start evaluating records, you are failing the mental exercise. Watch these QBs play, they all wow me. Burrow is the best at picking apart a defense. He does it with or without pressure. His accuracy is second to none. His creativity is second to one. He lacks the super long ball. Obviously Lamar is most lethal on the run. Evaluating just QB play, Lamar has the most potential and Burrow is the best. Lamar misses the throw in critical moments sometimes. If he gets his accuracy up just a little bit then he will be better than Joe. Watching Joe feels like watching Brady but with more speed.
The NFL is definitely helping Mehomes too and Mehomes is behind Jackson, Allen, and Burrow stat wise
