Thank you for taking the time to leave your comment. I'm more and more aware that irregularities in the wood or larger cracks can add to the final beauty of the product itself, if treated in the right way. I often see that real masters deliberately look for wood with defects, because they want the final product to be something special, unique, never seen before. But in my case, I just didn't have a dry piece of wood in stock, and I was in too much of a hurry, anyway ;)
Very nice work. You have a passion for your craft and it shows. I have been doing this for almost fifty years. My only suggestion is get a mask on even when outside. I know it doesn’t film well but I can tell you the sawdust kills not unlike a coal miner back in the day.
A compliment from someone who has been carving most of his life is really something special. Thank you! I want to use a dust mask, but I always have a problem with the visor fogging up. I did find a mask with active anti-fogging ventilation online, but it's too expensive for my budget, for now ;)
@@MyHappyPlaceSlovenia Then use simple transparent visor, like the ones used when cutting grass, and below it you can wear a mask and you'll have no problems with fogging!
when pouring epoxy resin, it is important to use strong and leak-proof adhesive tape see this link: www.isocell.com/en/product/airstop-kb this tape is specifically used for airtight sealing of joints in the construction of so-called passive houses, i.e. houses that are very well thermally insulated and therefore use minimal energy for heating or cooling currently this is the only tape I use that doesn't leak ;)
It is called MANPA multi cutter, click this link for more information: th-cam.com/video/uZyLz0AY9o4/w-d-xo.html All the links to the tools I use you can found in the description below the video .
If you mean an attachment on a grinder with a cutter, then it is called a MANPA multi cutter (watch this video): th-cam.com/video/uZyLz0AY9o4/w-d-xo.html But if you have in mind a simple hand sander with soft foam on the underside click on this link: www.amazon.de/-/en/2891000-Wolfcraft-1-Hand-Sander/dp/B002OHGQWS/ref=sr_1_15?crid=2KWHX1IBC9UG4&keywords=schleifpapier%2Bhalter&qid=1674201094&sprefix=sanding%2Bpaper%2Bholder%2Caps%2 2C256&sr=8-15&th=1
You bring the flaws to life and show that this piece is not lost but shining in the sun
