I'm always shocked to see Rapha lose but I have to admit, this makes for a much more interesting series.
What an epic season:
1. No more separated NA and EU regions
2. Dramis defeated Raisy, Vengeurr and RAPHA
3. Other NA region players defeated top Europeans several times (Zenaku-Cypher, Maxter-Vengeurr)
4. Rapha lost TWO regular matches IN A ROW
Too bad they just removed the intermediate (stage) Finals, leaving only QuakeCon'22

Rapha was not in a good mood I can tell, but also K1llsen trained very professionally this week and was very focused on winning even on prac games. Rapha made some mistakes on par with the ones he did when Vengeur won.
my boy Rapha got his cheeks clapped bad this tourney, this surely is a cold bucket to my face, I thought he'd just steamroll over everyone as usual. Looking forward to Zenaku in the finals in this case

Wow. I've never seen Rapha dominated that badly. Especially in game 2. K1llsen's aim is absolutely phenomenal. GGs to him.
Just look at Killsen's positioning. Amazing. Every single time he made a frag it was because Rapha made a mistake. No LAN connection could have saved Rapha from his decision making.

Это классная заруба, впервые за миллион лет палеолита квейка Рафа сполз на 2е место КПЛ,судя по всему забыл таблетки выпить,
вначале коментаторы напомнили, что у него лучший контроль, по итогу все поржали с этого,
на первой карте 2 раза Рейльсон контроль перебивал и это при относительно среднем рейле в 50%
вторая карта Рафа вообще отдал 2 айтема за раз, забыл видимо что он против строга играет
третья в дырку не пролетел на ровном счете, поплыл
и стал топ2, именно после этой катки
Рафу клинит не пушинге, он не может отдать сопернику порулить картой и контролем хотя бы временно, лезет на рожон. Так было и с драмисом на последней их карте, рафа просто пер танком и огребал.

he is notorious for using high mouse acceleration, unlike anyone else in the pro league. That's why his aim looks so shaky.

Rapha's reasoning and professorial approach, sometimes cost him alot. He had 4 possibilities to overtake a map, having superior stack, but he decided to disengage. 24:16 is one of the possibilities.

Amazing playing by Killsen here, and not so much Rapha. Not sure why people are complaining about Ketchup being so Rapha dominate on BC, especially when those moments happen where someone just won't die. Of course, none of you care when Wheat goes on and on about dethroning Rapha and about someone "taking his place" so all of you are biased as well then. Yeah, I personally think Wheat's abundance of talk regarding this just adds fuel to the separation, while Ketchup was just reacting like a broadcaster would in a moment like that.
This match looks like The Grand Final.
Seeing Rapha lose like this is so surprising, but then remembering killsens grind and Raphas complete dominance over the years you can see why. The competition is getting more competitive which is great for everyone involved. Rapha was never gonna get better if his competition wasn't hard for him and vice versa for Killsen, this rivalry definitely has me watching

No. The stats are lifted from the match end screen as is.
killsen's rail is amazing as always, but I think it's the lg aim that makes the biggest difference for him atm. He improves on lg A LOT, I would say he has top 3 lg atm

K1llsen with some luck on Corrupted Keep, just watch the video from 22:00 till 22:11 min. Rapha should have fragged K1llsen with the Shotgun, but missed a lil bit to much.
That was the coin flip situation that changed the whole momentum in K1llsen's favour.
Rapha played good, but it seems to me, that he underestimated his opponent in some situations. That's why he did some uncharacteristic mistakes.

Killsen is amazing, but honeslty Rapha hasn't been playing like he used to imo. I believe EU rapha has had more flare, but I think US rapha was more reserved, and ultimately better.
Rapha played well, killsen just played better. I mean look at how close he was to coming back and winning on Deep Embrace.
Easoer to be more composed when you're fighting all around weaker opponets.

@@Kogirius rapha has had LG trouble his entire time in NL ahead of this game (you can check his Twitch...he's been down >10% in accuracy compared to his normal averages), and from watching k1llsen's Twitch video reviewing these games, he said rapha mentioned it at one point, and that's what it was about

Cooller is washed--he hasn't finished higher than 8th in a meaningful competition in years. Cypher is a bigger miss, but he still wasn't doing better than k1llsen/raisy/vengeurr/av3k over the last year or so. I like watching cypher, but him and base being missing this season sucks, but neither of them were really challenging for best in the world.

Way too many people are overreacting to this. Rapha was clearly off his game, and k1llsen was playing better than he ever has before--and it was STILL incredibly close, hinging on 1-2 plays per game. Who knows what's going to happen at QuakeCon. That said, this is good for QC, and I'm here for k1llsen really stepping up.

i get if you have your own pick but being so biased during a duel is not acceptable by my standards. Shane is by far the most dominant Quake player ever who have proven him self in so many clutch situations and losing one is nothing. but being that much biased even after he lost the match already 2-0 going in the third and just hearing them how they plot if he gets one back .. how would that be so much better for him.. omg.. if you happen to read this comment just think about it next time you try to pull a commenting session such as this one.

I’m a K1llsen fan and I think you’re wrong. Their job is to build up the hype and part of that is ephasizing chances of the player who is currently losing. I was actually surprised they signed Rapha off quite fast on on DE, he clearly had the time for a comeback and certainly had a chance.
