Home! You can see the distillery from my folks' front door. Every bottle in the core range is lovely in its own way. I do wish they'd increase the ABVs as the ages increase, but I think you'll love them anyways, Erik. :)

Bushmills, the first whiskey that I liked. Nice history lesson.

Great review sir! Bushmills 10 was the first bottle of Single Malt that I was given at 19 by my grandmother and my first whisky love. I always have a bottle on hand. I love Bushmills but I'm screaming out for them to do something in the core range that isn't 40% and chill filtered!

Great summary history and core range overview. I have sampled them all as part of the Belfast Whisky Week last year. While I don't find them exceptional, the Black Bush is a good whisky for the money. The 21 is very nice but there are better choices for that price. I'm really enjoying your content, Erik.

The history part of the video is really interesting. Looking forward to the reviews and I’m curious to hear what your thoughts on the core range are. Truthfully I’ve always had a prejudice related to the proof of Bushmills whiskey. Personally I think their older offerings would be a bit more desirable at a higher ABV such as 46% or at least 43%.

Great video. I agree with Richard Agnew. It is such shame that all 6 of the core Bushmills whiskies, no matter the age or price, are all neutered to 40% ABV. They should be ashamed of themselves. Doesn't anyone at Bushmills say, "This is a a 16 year-old single malt whiskey with a proud history and tradition. It should at least be 43%."

I agree especially for the Single Malts that are $80 - $200.

Truth, brother! If they're so hard up for money, charge me $10 more per bottle and get that ABV out of the embarrassment zone...jeez! Bunch of stingy corporate bean counters. 🤪😂

Total Wine & More in Roseville California. Prices at TW&M varies from state to state, probably due to state taxes.
