We were just there yesterday and even though we got a good deal, wouldn’t book it again. However, I’m glad we tried it to get a feel for it. Wasn’t a bad experience just a little underwhelming. We did not book a cabana, just had the day pass. It is nice but felt the menu was limited and really catered to seafood lovers (I’m am not). Also, the daybeds are cool however there are only 8 of them so if you don’t get there right when they open you aren’t getting one. The infinity pool is really nice, heated as well so that’s a plus. Definitely a nice calm atmosphere which we liked. We mainly booked this because we had never been to Cococay before and knowing there would be 2 ships there that day I wanted to ensure we would have a place to relax. We walked around the island and saw many open loungers at the non upgraded beaches so in the future we will do that.
We have been binge watching your channel since finding it a few days ago.. so shall be calling with a lot of questions. We’re really interested in this Coco beach & floating cabana experience along with the suites on the big ships 🚢. You would be surprised how 8-12 hours of filming feels like four days in a row, then working 13 hours to keep ahead of all of the travelers we have booked. I love to make travel dreams come true, but the reality is something nobody sees.

Everything is pre recorded. We did a 12 hour filming day on Coco Cay. And between all of the videos it's about 80 hours of editing, not to mention at least 20 hours of exporting and rendering.
Just booked a day pass at coco beach club! Super excited but that $199 price tag was hefty.. but saw we won’t be the only ship in port that day and wanted to not feel overcrowded… Hoping it’s worth it for us!!

The Coco Beach Club cabanas only included access to the Coco Beach area, along with the snorkels, floaties, and other rentals. If you are looking to do the water park I highly recommend getting a thrill cabana which does include entrance to the water park.
@@HarrTravel - We've been going to CocoCay since the maiden voyage of "Nordic Empress", now known as "Empress of the Seas", I believe 1990. We loved the undeveloped island with modest amenities. Our last trip to "Perfect Day" felt too Disney. We are seniors, so the water rides didn't suit us. The upgraded food was good, but the island charm has evolved into something I'd expect onboard. We spent almost $1k that day.
Do you prepay for the cabanas before your cruise or do you pay them at the end of your sailing. I've only sailed on Disney Cruise line where excursions and rentals are charged to your on-board account so I didn't know if it was the same with Royal Caribbean or if they handle that differently.
-25db was maxed out. The choice was over powering wind noise or some gain distortion. Limiter on the output was -.7 but Danny talks so loud that it was nearly a brick limiting situation. No filming location has prime audio, and we rarely can wait for the conditions to be tolerable. It's run and gun at it's finest, and don't even get me started on lighting conditions.

You can book a Cabana and gain access to the club for free, or simply pay for club access.

They are dynamic and they change with the cruise and season. Usually it is about $500 to 600 more for the floating cabanas.

We miss Barefoot Beach, the predecessor to this new development. Sometimes, primitive can be better. Great video.
There are many great options, have you been to the island since? It still has some of the old charm, just with a lot of improvements.

Does Coco Beach Club with Cabana include admission to Thrill Water Park?
It does not, only Coco Beach Club.
The $200 per person, does it often reach that high?
The closer it is to the cruise it is not uncommon to be $200-220. That is also why we always recommend booking early on.

You do want to pre-book the cabanas as they go pretty quick based on the time of year and ship. You pay when you reserve with Royal.

these cabanas are like 600 a day. Not bad for a big family but if you are traveling solo not worth it
