I am so happy when I see people appreciate Kim's character the way he deserves...I mean Kim is one of the smartest and most mysterious character in the series. According to novel readers, Kim is the most dangerous brother as well....even their father is wary and uneasy around Kim cuz no one really knew what Kim knew or was thinking until he made a move. So yes..I am so glad that u guys didn't go straight up hating Kim for his coldness to Chay.😍
I also see Kim as the one who would be the best leader of the major family. Tankhun is Tanhkun and Kinn lives with emotion. Kim on the other hand is very smart and calculating.
I loved your thought on Vegas. They were pretty much on the same line with what I got out of this episode. Very dimensional charachter. Vegas is a prisoner of his life. And Pete being very observant and manipulating gently to get through Vegas. They also have their trauma's than play into the dynamic of these two. Very interesting these two. This series is so goooood.
I love your discussions about Vegas' psyche, it had me tearing up. Vegas is a really complex character it doesn't mean that I liked his personality or whatever he is doing but how he is as a character. One of the reasons why I liked this ship also is because a character as bad as Vegas is capable of change . I am even more excited now of the next ep because of this
I also loved the detail that as Vegas is reading he has his back to Pete, it’s literally the only time he does it were Pete is close enough to hurt him. I took it as he trusts Pete enough that he knows Pete won’t do anything. It also shows how Vegas has not just internally let himself be vulnerable but also physically and even the fact that he is wearing PJs in that scene is another way of showing him being vulnerable because that is the most laid back or casual we have seen Vegas. The dynamic between VegasPete is really interesting. Also another thing I wanna add that someone pointed out on twitter, is that the man who speaks to Kinn in the beginning of the preview for the next episode was one of the other thugs or mafia guys that were beating up Porsches uncle in the first episode. So that will be an interesting thing to bring back around.
Finally :) I was waiting for your reaction while rewatching this ep over and over again...I just need Saturday to come faster. Definitely need more of VegasPete...Their chemistry is off the chart & their story is very intriguing...Next ep, VegasPete should be on fire, the light in their room changed to purple 💜 lol someone already fell in love
Thank you for sharing your reaction and commentary, i love how you guys talk about the little things Pete does or say to Vegas to make him dare to show his vulnerable side and the sides he never show to anyone else. I find it interesting how Pete is becoming like a medicine and a healer for Vegas, not that it will change him completely, but it could bring some light to the darkness Vegas is surrounded by. Pete cares and understands he relates to him. I think it's one of these things Vegas secretly craves.
Loved your explanation 👍 For every other reaction videos people hated Vegas.True he should be hated for his actions.But I liked your guys perspective of talking about the underlying parts of his character and like his world getting crumbled in front of Pete.The explaination about him nurturing his pet is an interesting take where we can see Vegas can also care.Pete s positive mindset is due to his grandma who showered him with love and he was able to see the world in a positive way inspite of his trauma. On the other hand Vegas had no nurturing figure to look up to and he lacked that and it turn showed it into torture and he that s the only way he gained control and in that he had happiness.You guys nailed the intricate layers of Vegas and Pete s character ❤️
Vegas' history of abuse explains a lot..it excuses nothing. A mild sadist is into consensual encounters with like minded partners. That's not Vegas. Vegas is a major sadist which means he is looking to cause traumatic injury which may or may not result in death. It's all about him satisfying his need to hurt/harm another person. And while some elements of this particular brand of sadism can be a learned behavior, there are other elements of it which are hard wired into the brain. Pete was brought to the safe house to be a whipping post for Vegas because he knew his father would seek to punish him for his "failures" and for disobeying him when it came to Porsche. This reason is completely dependent on how his father treats him. The other reason Pete was brought there was to keep him from getting bored. And this reason plays into what is hard wired into his brain. To hurt someone for the sake of hurting them is not a reaction to anything other than the need to do so, Because as he said he likes how Pete suffers. While it's a romantic notion that Vegas wants to change for Pete, that puts way too much pressure on Pete and whatever relationship they eventually have. In that is suggests that Pete is going to be in some way held responsible for what Vegas does or says after they get together. Which to me a load of crap. Pete cannot change Vegas. If Vegas doesn't want to change for himself to better himself, it is a false change he's making that won't really take root because he's doing it for all the wrong reasons. it's like when an alcoholic or drug addict goes to rehab because they've been given an ultimatum by family and or friends. It usually doesn't work that first time because they aren't doing it for themselves they are doing it for other people. Mr. Korn and Mr. Kan: the one things which I find very interesting in this episode when it comes to these two is that they both seem to feel that Porsche is important. Mr. Kan is initially so angry with Vegas because he'd told Vegas to only keep and eye on Porsche, not to HURT him. Let's remember that Porsche was there the night his parents died in the "accident". Did he see or hear something he wasn't supposed to? We know he doesn't remember what happened and was only told later what "happened" by his uncle. I'm not convinced Mr. Korn had anything to do with the actual deaths of Porsche's parents, but if he didn't who would he cover up for? As for Mr. Kan. Why would he care about Porsche getting hurt, especially since he's so closely associated with the major family whom he seems to hate with a passion? Remember all of the focus of these two seems to be on Porsche not his brother. As for Kim, whatever is finds out going forward I don't think it will be the whole story. I think it will look very incriminating against Mr. Korn. But I don't think it will be the whole story. Porsche's uncle. I believe we are going to see him again. Because there is a clip in the trailer where he is talking to Kinn which hasn't happened yet. So I expect to see him in the next three episodes. What role he plays who knows, because I don't find him to be a reliable source of information either
The two of you are some of my favorite reactors to watch because you get the psychology of the characters and it's not all fawning over how cute everything is. Also want to mention the book that Vegas is reading, 'Childhood's End' by Arthur C. Clarke...it's a science fiction novel about how all human children suddenly make a big leap in evolution (there are aliens involved who protect the kids and explain what is happening to the clueless adults) and how all the children have a different destiny that their parents can't understand or share. So, maybe similar themes? I love how multilayered this show is. Also, does the hedgehog only speak English? I want to know why Vegas speaks English; it seems random, but there must be some logic to it I'm missing.
I love how you guys spoke about the two fathers dynamic because I believe it plays such a huge role in the story. One thing I love about this show is that it fleshes out the characters so well and if you are willing to read the subtext and look at the details you can catch a lot. Honestly I feel like this show is more character driven than anything and looking at the characters interactions is the real story at least imo. I love your analysis talks can't wait for next week
I love your reaction and your analysis of what is happening on the screen. Because I felt the same way. This series is incredible. Bible and Bild were able to fully reveal the characters of their characters, it's hard to believe that this is their first film role. What emotions and feelings they were able to convey through the screen is incredible. And the whole film crew, this light, this music, to goosebumps, such a huge job has been done. It is hard to believe that this is a Thai bl series, it is at such a high level, as if it was filmed for Hollywood. This range is astounding and stupefying. I am absolutely in love with this series and especially with these actors. They did a very difficult, but such a fantastic job.
This ep seems like my head hurts a lot. It's like being on a roller coaster until you're completely dizzy. Each scene makes it bipolar, emotional ups and downs. Finally, the conclusion of the love between Vegas and Pete will end in an unpredictable way from the novel that I can't really guess. I just remembered in an interview pete said that pete and Vegas both couldnt sleep after the torture scene, especially pete . He kept reminding himself that he is build not pete .
Be prepared for an EXTREMELY long comment!! 🤪😳 OK for the emotional moments from the episode. Most tender moment, KinnPorsche of course. The bedroom and hair drying scene. Most funniest and heart warming moment, Arm and Pol commentary of and support for KinnPorsche. (Also loved Khun's support for his brother) Most traumatic moment, Vegas whipping Pete. Just NO👎. Most biggest heartbreaking moment, Porschay emotional breakdown. I just can't 😭 I'm going to start with my least favourite. Vegas 🤬 Firstly exceptional acting again by Bible. Can't believe this is his first proper acting role. He really is SO good. I get the appeal of a character like Vegas. I do. Complex and charismatic. So much packed and to dig out of a character like him especially with how hais life has been and the major effects it has had on him. So yes it is fascinating to watching how it unfolds and how Pete is impactful for Vegas in helping him break down those walls of his. Saying all of this, I just don't feel that big emotional connection towards Vegas because of his cruelty towards others even knowing what his father has put him through. I do empathise and have compassion for his upbringing however the utter enjoyment he seems to get from others pain particularly when torturing them has given me the distinct feeling that he would still be slightly unhinged even without his father's horrendous treatment of him. This is the mafia world so there is an acknowledgement that favourites like Kinn and Kim aren't angels themselves when looking back to the very first episode when Kinn just coldly shot that man in the head. So yeah pretty bad but their actions come across as a necessary evil for the greater good or bad depending on a person's view of their actions. I just feel a real sense of the utmost pleasure from Vegas when he inflicts such torture and pain. It just turns me off and like you both, I was turning away from the scene as it was too much to bare. And then when you understand that they tone down these scenes from the actual book?! The horror of realising Vegas's true actions and intent towards Pete. I WILL be watching mainly for how it affects Pete more than how their unfolding relationship affects Vegas. I'm still not at the point of no return regarding Vegas as a character however knowing myself, he won't ever be a character as a standalone where I am invested in just HIS story. And so to my utter heartbreak 💔 Just a massive kudos to the exceptional performance of Barcode in THAT scene because when watching your reaction when Porschay was with Khun and knowing what was about to happen, I started crying again WITHOUT seeing the scene because that is the power of Barcode's acting. I kind of get why Kim reacted the way he did because of being unsure of why Porsche and Porschay are somewhat important to his father and what that means to his relationship with Porschay but it still felt horrible that he had to treat Porschay in such a cruel way. And Porschay breaking down in tears was just too devastating to see. I do feel that Kim has fallen for Chay but is just hesitate not just because he not sure of the connection between his family and Porschay's but also with Chay's kidnapping. I don't believe he wants Chay in his mafia world (although it's far too late for that!). I'm SO invested in KimChay as a couple and hope that there is more from them. Especially with the hopeful second series of KinnPorsche if rumours prove to be true. And then hopefully the ones that have issues with Jeff and Barcode's ages as of now won't be harping on about their scenes as Barcode is turning 18 in August I believe. Of course the age gap will still exist between them but Barcode will be an adult and I don't imagine for one moment that any intimate scenes between them won't be done with care and consideration for the comfortability of BOTH Jeff and Barcode. I just NEED for KimChay to be together in the end whether it is series one or the hopefully series two. And FINALLY to the couple that consume me as much as they consume each other. KinnPorsche. I love that they could admit the depths of their feelings for one another to their family and friends. And the way they are with each other. They just complete one another in ways no one else could touch. And I adore the hell out of Kinn's clingyness. It's just a joy to watch. However even the gorgeous helicopter scene could NOT take me out of my pain for Chay and so I didn't feel it in the way I would have if they had just put that scene BEFORE Chay's heartbreak. As I am re-watching your video again and coming to the end while writing this because YES it HAS taken me that long to type this 🥴 I just wanted to say I absolutely agree with you about not being the one to truly change a person but giving them the tools to change themselves if it's what they want to do. What would b Porsche & Chay reactions after learning about their parents' death. I have few guesses regarding Chay and Kim but I will wait for next ep. 😅 Pete is strong and fierce, he's the head bodyguard afterall and I really like that side of him. the reason why did not the food is because pete is not used to eat western food and in the novel pete s dad abandon him and his mom with another woman, also in the novel vegas dont know how to speak southern thai language thats why his annoyed with pete every time he talks southern thai language because vegas dont understand pete at all also in the novel the reason vegas is ok with being beat up by his is because pete is always there to comfort him and his falling in love with pete i hope this helps you

I was waiting for your reaction😍 I really enjoyed this episode. In particular, I would like to focus on the portrayal of the VegasPete couple, because the show really improved the novel. First of all, I really liked the change in Vegas' motivation to keep Pete with him. In the novel, he’s just the prisoner Vegas likes to torture, while in the series, seeing him as an animal to be taken care of is already a big step forward and opens up the possibility that Vegas can somehow take care of him. Also in the novel Vegas rapes Pete several times since the first moments of his kidnapping, the fact that they replaced the rape with proper BDSM was really interesting from my point of view. More importantly, they’ve taken Vegas prisoner as well as Pete is. Unlike the novel, where Pete was imprisoned in Vegas house and Vegas continued to live his life quietly, in the series he is also made prisoner in the safehosue. So while on the one hand he still wants to keep his power over Pete, on the other hand he is also emotionally more vulnerable and this facilitates a rapid development in their relationship. Development in the relationship is even greater with the childhood created for Pete that in the novel is not present. So all this made me appreciate this couple even more. As for the other couples: Perchay did not deserve to be treated so coldly by Kim, on the other hand Kim has never even dared to answer in the last episode to his "love you". This is certainly due to guilt for approaching him for other purposes, but after Porchay’s kidnapping, from my point of view, he tried to push him away to protect him. However, now, Porchay has entered this world and so we will see how their story will continue in the next episodes. What is certain is that Kim has feelings for Porchay, otherwise he would not have behaved so. As for Kinn and Porsche, I’m really happy to see them so happy, after all the trouble they’ve had, they deserve it. I was particularly struck by the scene in the bedroom, because there I could notice how much Kinn and Porsche complete each other perfectly. 33:24 we all knew that korn was involved. What we don't know is why he did it? Cuz him simply killing the parents doesn't answer his obsession with Porsche and Porsché because this man has been killing people for a long time and hes not out here being charitable to all their offsprings. Also Remember that since ep 1 we've established that Korn has been playing a game of chess and that Porsche is considered his Queen piece. In ep 5 again when he wins the game against Kinn he uses the queen to win it. Also notice that Korn is aware of everything going on in the household including the time that Kim opened his secret drawer with the handprints. Imo Korn is also one of the most interesting characters in the show and i find his dynamic with Kinn and Kim super interesting. One he keeps close to himself and on a leash and the other he lets him roam "freely". Anyways the f*ckery that is about to occur in the next few episodes scares me. Also in the preview yall didn't recognize the debtor from ep 1 did you?

I absolutely enjoy your discussion on major players in this episode, it gives me things to think about. Just to add I think that if *KIM* ever spoke to *PORSCHE* and is somehow able to bring his memory of the accident back *(PORSCHE was in the car when the accident occurred)* that is possibly a way to blow the whole case open. Btw after I listened to your discussion it made me wonder if both *Mr Korn & Mr Kan* are actually involved in the accident/death of *PORSCHE's* parents because it brought back to memory how *VEGAS's* reacted and immediately wanted *VEGAS* to watch him while also getting information on him.

@38:21 Actually no, Kim is the biological 3rd child of the main family. There is no mistress involved, but he will find something else( novel readers will know). Also here the mole was Ken(Perth) but in the novel it was Big and was killed by the main family. Let's see how much of the big reveal we will get to see in this season. Also I'm glad that the writers ruled out the sexual assault scenes from the novel, Pete was tortured even further in the novel that it was kind off hard to read. Pete was said to have been in captivity for months( which will not be really shown in just 3 episodes) so the duration of their relationship might look rushed to afew people.
Yeah I was waiting for your reaction to this episode. I know the concept of Vegas & Pete is very divisive but I once again commend production in still taking the main concept of the novel plot with going all the way in with how much days he was tortured and raped. It help the audience be more sympathetic to Vegas not absolving him of what he did but you can understand why he is the way he is and Pete making him realize that he is traumatized from the abuse from his father. Personally I don't know how much time will be available to redeem Vegas if one can but to be honest all these characters are questionable in their own right in what they do as mafia its just that they tend to be more sympathetic to certain things. I think Vegas needs to get some therapy or try to change his ways although he may never be completely changed cause he is still mafia and he does do certain things well like torture and that is needed in his line of work before he even contemplates anything relationship wise with Pete hell at least be friends first. Also Vegas isn't completely lacking emotions cause he clearly cares about Macau and dotes on him. I am truly enjoying Barcode portrayal of Porchay and I know his actual age was an issue with some fans because Jeff is 9-10 year which is why they chose a cheek kiss for their scene. His portrayal is believable from his bubbly awkwardness to his complete breakdown crying why Kim broke his heart partly because he is good at what he does but also he is a teen currently and his emotions and innocence are at the forefront at this point in life. What can I say about Kinn and Porsche other than they are just too much in a good way. Some have been up in arms about the show isn't enough mafia and I keep having to say the essence of the show is a BL with a mafia theme not a Mafia show with BL elements its a big difference. As much as we want them to go full out we have to remember at the end of the day they still make the show for the core Thai audience and have limits for the TV version where they get most of their sponsorship for cause TV is still the largest advertisement platform and if we want this production team to survive we needs these endorsements.
My brain is concocting so many different scenarios I think that either Mr. Korn or his brother Gun could have been involved with Porsche and Porchay’s mother. Perhaps a lovers quarrel or as Porsche mentioned his family’s history with private loans. If it’s a lovers quarrel it explains why Gun said to just lookout for Porsche and not hurt him. It also could explain why Korn is protective over him, looking out for family… however would be quite odd considering his current relationships and Kim’s current relationship lmao. I’ve said this from ep 1, that Tankhun is extremely intelligent. On a limb, he was kidnapped by Porsche’s family and held ransom and then Korn had the parents killed. I feel like Tankhun knows something though. Or on a different route, since we know Porsche’s family was rich, is it possible that Korn, Gun, and Porsche’s mom were siblings? That’s why he continues to be protective over the kids. It could also explain why Gun is also keeping an eye on Porsche, especially if he’s scared the major family really will rule over him if Porsche is on their side. Now idk how this works for Kinn and Porsche and their relationship lol so who knows I wish I had read the novel so I could compare differences and think about how this may play out, because I am totally blind going into this and there are endless scenarios on how this could play out IMO. also, thank you for mentioning the intense mood changes between the scenes!! I’m sure artistically it was done for a purpose but I was beginning to think I was the only one who noticed it lol!

To be honest I have avoided a lot of reactions to ep 11 because fans have been so trash and hating on Kinnporsche. like did we all forgot that this show had 10 episodes prior and that Kinnporsche has been the reason we have been watching and obsessing and loving this show. yeah your fav couple can be vegaspete, I have no issues with that. I have watched BL were I preferred the secondary couple but I never forget who the show is about and who carries the plot and story of the show. like 25 minutes of vegaspete in 1 and a half episodes and fans are acting like the show is about them and that vegaspete have done something for the show's storyline. y'all lame as hell if you're one of these fans. and for those actually hating and being rude to mileapo, like slap yourself the face. who said this had to be divided? you can enjoy both or one of the couples without hating. We can enjoy them but Vegaspete does nothing for the plot and neither does kimchay. The story of Pete and Vegas is quite rushed, in the novel I found only the part of the supposed very fast redemption. I think I would have preferred if they had saved Pete and Vegas development for a possible second season, or at least understood a little more about their history, I haven't been able to create a connection with Vegas, any positive feelings I have about him come from actor who plays him, the character itself does not bring anything positive to me and I tend to reject the future couple that will develop from this humiliating and hasty situation. The series reached its peak in episode 6, the dynamic between the protagonists in the forest was excellent, but it has since slowed down, particularly in episode 8, which has started to feel like a bad comedy. In fact, it is precisely when they tend towards comedy that the biggest problems of this BL arise, in some moments like those involving Tankhun they hit the target, but with other characters it doesn't always work out, even making the series lose its tone, which is complicated in a mafia story that is meant to be at times. In addition, I still think the balance is positive, mainly due to the talented cast and well-executed production, but the script has become increasingly problematic, I hope it catches its breath in this final stretch.

I am so happy when I see people appreciate Kim's character the way he deserves...I mean Kim is one of the smartest and most mysterious character in the series. According to novel readers, Kim is the most dangerous brother as well....even their father is wary and uneasy around Kim cuz no one really knew what Kim knew or was thinking until he made a move. So yes..I am so glad that u guys didn't go straight up hating Kim for his coldness to Chay.😍

I loved your thought on Vegas. They were pretty much on the same line with what I got out of this episode. Very dimensional charachter. Vegas is a prisoner of his life. And Pete being very observant and manipulating gently to get through Vegas. They also have their trauma's than play into the dynamic of these two. Very interesting these two. This series is so goooood.
I love your discussions about Vegas' psyche, it had me tearing up. Vegas is a really complex character it doesn't mean that I liked his personality or whatever he is doing but how he is as a character.
One of the reasons why I liked this ship also is because a character as bad as Vegas is capable of change . I am even more excited now of the next ep because of this
I also loved the detail that as Vegas is reading he has his back to Pete, it’s literally the only time he does it were Pete is close enough to hurt him. I took it as he trusts Pete enough that he knows Pete won’t do anything. It also shows how Vegas has not just internally let himself be vulnerable but also physically and even the fact that he is wearing PJs in that scene is another way of showing him being vulnerable because that is the most laid back or casual we have seen Vegas. The dynamic between VegasPete is really interesting.
Also another thing I wanna add that someone pointed out on twitter, is that the man who speaks to Kinn in the beginning of the preview for the next episode was one of the other thugs or mafia guys that were beating up Porsches uncle in the first episode. So that will be an interesting thing to bring back around.
Finally :) I was waiting for your reaction while rewatching this ep over and over again...I just need Saturday to come faster. Definitely need more of VegasPete...Their chemistry is off the chart & their story is very intriguing...Next ep, VegasPete should be on fire, the light in their room changed to purple 💜 lol someone already fell in love

Thank you for sharing your reaction and commentary, i love how you guys talk about the little things Pete does or say to Vegas to make him dare to show his vulnerable side and the sides he never show to anyone else. I find it interesting how Pete is becoming like a medicine and a healer for Vegas, not that it will change him completely, but it could bring some light to the darkness Vegas is surrounded by. Pete cares and understands he relates to him. I think it's one of these things Vegas secretly craves.

Vegas' history of abuse explains a lot..it excuses nothing. A mild sadist is into consensual encounters with like minded partners. That's not Vegas. Vegas is a major sadist which means he is looking to cause traumatic injury which may or may not result in death. It's all about him satisfying his need to hurt/harm another person. And while some elements of this particular brand of sadism can be a learned behavior, there are other elements of it which are hard wired into the brain. Pete was brought to the safe house to be a whipping post for Vegas because he knew his father would seek to punish him for his "failures" and for disobeying him when it came to Porsche. This reason is completely dependent on how his father treats him.
The other reason Pete was brought there was to keep him from getting bored. And this reason plays into what is hard wired into his brain. To hurt someone for the sake of hurting them is not a reaction to anything other than the need to do so, Because as he said he likes how Pete suffers. While it's a romantic notion that Vegas wants to change for Pete, that puts way too much pressure on Pete and whatever relationship they eventually have. In that is suggests that Pete is going to be in some way held responsible for what Vegas does or says after they get together. Which to me a load of crap. Pete cannot change Vegas. If Vegas doesn't want to change for himself to better himself, it is a false change he's making that won't really take root because he's doing it for all the wrong reasons. it's like when an alcoholic or drug addict goes to rehab because they've been given an ultimatum by family and or friends. It usually doesn't work that first time because they aren't doing it for themselves they are doing it for other people.
Mr. Korn and Mr. Kan: the one things which I find very interesting in this episode when it comes to these two is that they both seem to feel that Porsche is important. Mr. Kan is initially so angry with Vegas because he'd told Vegas to only keep and eye on Porsche, not to HURT him. Let's remember that Porsche was there the night his parents died in the "accident". Did he see or hear something he wasn't supposed to? We know he doesn't remember what happened and was only told later what "happened" by his uncle. I'm not convinced Mr. Korn had anything to do with the actual deaths of Porsche's parents, but if he didn't who would he cover up for? As for Mr. Kan. Why would he care about Porsche getting hurt, especially since he's so closely associated with the major family whom he seems to hate with a passion? Remember all of the focus of these two seems to be on Porsche not his brother.
As for Kim, whatever is finds out going forward I don't think it will be the whole story. I think it will look very incriminating against Mr. Korn. But I don't think it will be the whole story.
Porsche's uncle. I believe we are going to see him again. Because there is a clip in the trailer where he is talking to Kinn which hasn't happened yet. So I expect to see him in the next three episodes. What role he plays who knows, because I don't find him to be a reliable source of information either
The two of you are some of my favorite reactors to watch because you get the psychology of the characters and it's not all fawning over how cute everything is. Also want to mention the book that Vegas is reading, 'Childhood's End' by Arthur C. Clarke...it's a science fiction novel about how all human children suddenly make a big leap in evolution (there are aliens involved who protect the kids and explain what is happening to the clueless adults) and how all the children have a different destiny that their parents can't understand or share. So, maybe similar themes? I love how multilayered this show is.
Also, does the hedgehog only speak English? I want to know why Vegas speaks English; it seems random, but there must be some logic to it I'm missing.

I love how you guys spoke about the two fathers dynamic because I believe it plays such a huge role in the story. One thing I love about this show is that it fleshes out the characters so well and if you are willing to read the subtext and look at the details you can catch a lot. I love your reaction and your analysis of what is happening on the screen. Because I felt the same way. This series is incredible. Bible and Bild were able to fully reveal the characters of their characters, it's hard to believe that this is their first film role. What emotions and feelings they were able to convey through the screen is incredible. And the whole film crew, this light, this music, to goosebumps, such a huge job has been done. It is hard to believe that this is a Thai bl series, it is at such a high level, as if it was filmed for Hollywood. This range is astounding and stupefying. I am absolutely in love with this series and especially with these actors. They did a very difficult, but such a fantastic job.
This ep seems like my head hurts a lot. It's like being on a roller coaster until you're completely dizzy. Each scene makes it bipolar, emotional ups and downs. Finally, the conclusion of the love between Vegas and Pete will end in an unpredictable way from the novel that I can't really guess. I'm going to start with my least favourite. Vegas 🤬
Firstly exceptional acting again by Bible. Can't believe this is his first proper acting role. He really is SO good.
I get the appeal of a character like Vegas. I do. Complex and charismatic. So much packed and to dig out of a character like him especially with how hais life has been and the major effects it has had on him. So yes it is fascinating to watching how it unfolds and how Pete is impactful for Vegas in helping him break down those walls of his.
Saying all of this, I just don't feel that big emotional connection towards Vegas because of his cruelty towards others even knowing what his father has put him through. I do empathise and have compassion for his upbringing however the utter enjoyment he seems to get from others pain particularly when torturing them has given me the distinct feeling that he would still be slightly unhinged even without his father's horrendous treatment of him.
This is the mafia world so there is an acknowledgement that favourites like Kinn and Kim aren't angels themselves when looking back to the very first episode when Kinn just coldly shot that man in the head. So yeah pretty bad but their actions come across as a necessary evil for the greater good or bad depending on a person's view of their actions. I just feel a real sense of the utmost pleasure from Vegas when he inflicts such torture and pain. It just turns me off and like you both, I was turning away from the scene as it was too much to bare. And then when you understand that they tone down these scenes from the actual book?! The horror of realising Vegas's true actions and intent towards Pete.
I WILL be watching mainly for how it affects Pete more than how their unfolding relationship affects Vegas. I'm still not at the point of no return regarding Vegas as a character however knowing myself, he won't ever be a character as a standalone where I am invested in just HIS story.
And so to my utter heartbreak 💔
Just a massive kudos to the exceptional performance of Barcode in THAT scene because when watching your reaction when Porschay was with Khun and knowing what was about to happen, I started crying again WITHOUT seeing the scene because that is the power of Barcode's acting.
I kind of get why Kim reacted the way he did because of being unsure of why Porsche and Porschay are somewhat important to his father and what that means to his relationship with Porschay but it still felt horrible that he had to treat Porschay in such a cruel way.
And Porschay breaking down in tears was just too devastating to see.
I do feel that Kim has fallen for Chay but is just hesitate not just because he not sure of the connection between his family and Porschay's but also with Chay's kidnapping. I don't believe he wants Chay in his mafia world (although it's far too late for that!).
I'm SO invested in KimChay as a couple and hope that there is more from them. Especially with the hopeful second series of KinnPorsche if rumours prove to be true.
And then hopefully the ones that have issues with Jeff and Barcode's ages as of now won't be harping on about their scenes as Barcode is turning 18 in August I believe. Of course the age gap will still exist between them but Barcode will be an adult and I don't imagine for one moment that any intimate scenes between them won't be done with care and consideration for the comfortability of BOTH Jeff and Barcode.
I just NEED for KimChay to be together in the end whether it is series one or the hopefully series two.
And FINALLY to the couple that consume me as much as they consume each other. KinnPorsche.
I love that they could admit the depths of their feelings for one another to their family and friends.
And the way they are with each other. They just complete one another in ways no one else could touch.
And I adore the hell out of Kinn's clingyness. It's just a joy to watch.
However even the gorgeous helicopter scene could NOT take me out of my pain for Chay and so I didn't feel it in the way I would have if they had just put that scene BEFORE Chay's heartbreak.
As I am re-watching your video again and coming to the end while writing this because YES it HAS taken me that long to type this 🥴 I just wanted to say I absolutely agree with you about not being the one to truly change a person but giving them the tools to change themselves if it's what they want to do.

I have few guesses regarding Chay and Kim but I will wait for next ep. 😅 Pete is strong and fierce, he's the head bodyguard afterall and I really like that side of him. the reason why did not the food is because pete is not used to eat western food and in the novel pete s dad abandon him and his mom with another woman, also in the novel vegas dont know how to speak southern thai language thats why his annoyed with pete every time he talks southern thai language because vegas dont understand pete at all also in the novel the reason vegas is ok with being beat up by his is because pete is always there to comfort him and his falling in love with pete

I was waiting for your reaction😍 I really enjoyed this episode. In particular, I would like to focus on the portrayal of the VegasPete couple, because the show really improved the novel. First of all, I really liked the change in Vegas' motivation to keep Pete with him. In the novel, he’s just the prisoner Vegas likes to torture, while in the series, seeing him as an animal to be taken care of is already a big step forward and opens up the possibility that Vegas can somehow take care of him. Also in the novel Vegas rapes Pete several times since the first moments of his kidnapping, the fact that they replaced the rape with proper BDSM was really interesting from my point of view.
More importantly, they’ve taken Vegas prisoner as well as Pete is. Unlike the novel, where Pete was imprisoned in Vegas house and Vegas continued to live his life quietly, in the series he is also made prisoner in the safehosue. So while on the one hand he still wants to keep his power over Pete, on the other hand he is also emotionally more vulnerable and this facilitates a rapid development in their relationship. Development in the relationship is even greater with the childhood created for Pete that in the novel is not present. So all this made me appreciate this couple even more.
As for the other couples: Perchay did not deserve to be treated so coldly by Kim, on the other hand Kim has never even dared to answer in the last episode to his "love you". This is certainly due to guilt for approaching him for other purposes, but after Porchay’s kidnapping, from my point of view, he tried to push him away to protect him. However, now, Porchay has entered this world and so we will see how their story will continue in the next episodes. What is certain is that Kim has feelings for Porchay, otherwise he would not have behaved so.
As for Kinn and Porsche, I’m really happy to see them so happy, after all the trouble they’ve had, they deserve it. I was particularly struck by the scene in the bedroom, because there I could notice how much Kinn and Porsche complete each other perfectly. 33:24 we all knew that korn was involved. What we don't know is why he did it? Cuz him simply killing the parents doesn't answer his obsession with Porsche and Porsché because this man has been killing people for a long time and hes not out here being charitable to all their offsprings. Also Remember that since ep 1 we've established that Korn has been playing a game of chess and that Porsche is considered his Queen piece. In ep 5 again when he wins the game against Kinn he uses the queen to win it. Also notice that Korn is aware of everything going on in the household including the time that Kim opened his secret drawer with the handprints. Imo Korn is also one of the most interesting characters in the show and i find his dynamic with Kinn and Kim super interesting. One he keeps close to himself and on a leash and the other he lets him roam "freely". Anyways the f*ckery that is about to occur in the next few episodes scares me. Also in the preview yall didn't recognize the debtor from ep 1 did you?

I absolutely enjoy your discussion on major players in this episode, it gives me things to think about. Just to add I think that if *KIM* ever spoke to *PORSCHE* and is somehow able to bring his memory of the accident back *(PORSCHE was in the car when the accident occurred)* that is possibly a way to blow the whole case open.
Btw after I listened to your discussion it made me wonder if both *Mr Korn & Mr Kan* are actually involved in the accident/death of *PORSCHE's* parents because it brought back to memory how *VEGAS's* reacted and immediately wanted *VEGAS* to watch him while also getting information on him.

@38:21 Actually no, Kim is the biological 3rd child of the main family. There is no mistress involved, but he will find something else( novel readers will know).
Also here the mole was Ken(Perth) but in the novel it was Big and was killed by the main family.
Let's see how much of the big reveal we will get to see in this season.
Also I'm glad that the writers ruled out the sexual assault scenes from the novel, Pete was tortured even further in the novel that it was kind off hard to read. Pete was said to have been in captivity for months( which will not be really shown in just 3 episodes) so the duration of their relationship might look rushed to afew people.

Yeah I was waiting for your reaction to this episode. I know the concept of Vegas & Pete is very divisive but I once again commend production in still taking the main concept of the novel plot with going all the way in with how much days he was tortured and raped. It help the audience be more sympathetic to Vegas not absolving him of what he did but you can understand why he is the way he is and Pete making him realize that he is traumatized from the abuse from his father. Personally I don't know how much time will be available to redeem Vegas if one can but to be honest all these characters are questionable in their own right in what they do as mafia its just that they tend to be more sympathetic to certain things. I think Vegas needs to get some therapy or try to change his ways although he may never be completely changed cause he is still mafia and he does do certain things well like torture and that is needed in his line of work before he even contemplates anything relationship wise with Pete hell at least be friends first. Also Vegas isn't completely lacking emotions cause he clearly cares about Macau and dotes on him.
I am truly enjoying Barcode portrayal of Porchay and I know his actual age was an issue with some fans because Jeff is 9-10 year which is why they chose a cheek kiss for their scene. His portrayal is believable from his bubbly awkwardness to his complete breakdown crying why Kim broke his heart partly because he is good at what he does but also he is a teen currently and his emotions and innocence are at the forefront at this point in life.
What can I say about Kinn and Porsche other than they are just too much in a good way. Some have been up in arms about the show isn't enough mafia and I keep having to say the essence of the show is a BL with a mafia theme not a Mafia show with BL elements its a big difference. As much as we want them to go full out we have to remember at the end of the day they still make the show for the core Thai audience and have limits for the TV version where they get most of their sponsorship for cause TV is still the largest advertisement platform and if we want this production team to survive we needs these endorsements.

I think that either Mr. Korn or his brother Gun could have been involved with Porsche and Porchay’s mother. Perhaps a lovers quarrel or as Porsche mentioned his family’s history with private loans. If it’s a lovers quarrel it explains why Gun said to just lookout for Porsche and not hurt him. It also could explain why Korn is protective over him, looking out for family… however would be quite odd considering his current relationships and Kim’s current relationship lmao.
I’ve said this from ep 1, that Tankhun is extremely intelligent. On a limb, he was kidnapped by Porsche’s family and held ransom and then Korn had the parents killed. I feel like Tankhun knows something though.
Or on a different route, since we know Porsche’s family was rich, is it possible that Korn, Gun, and Porsche’s mom were siblings? That’s why he continues to be protective over the kids. It could also explain why Gun is also keeping an eye on Porsche, especially if he’s scared the major family really will rule over him if Porsche is on their side. Now idk how this works for Kinn and Porsche and their relationship lol so who knows
I wish I had read the novel so I could compare differences and think about how this may play out, because I am totally blind going into this and there are endless scenarios on how this could play out IMO.

To be honest I have avoided a lot of reactions to ep 11 because fans have been so trash and hating on Kinnporsche. like did we all forgot that this show had 10 episodes prior and that Kinnporsche has been the reason we have been watching and obsessing and loving this show. yeah your fav couple can be vegaspete, I have no issues with that. I have watched BL were I preferred the secondary couple but I never forget who the show is about and who carries the plot and story of the show. like 25 minutes of vegaspete in 1 and a half episodes and fans are acting like the show is about them and that vegaspete have done something for the show's storyline. y'all lame as hell if you're one of these fans. and for those actually hating and being rude to mileapo, like slap yourself the face. who said this had to be divided? you can enjoy both or one of the couples without hating. We can enjoy them but Vegaspete does nothing for the plot and neither does kimchay. The story of Pete and Vegas is quite rushed, in the novel I found only the part of the supposed very fast redemption. I think I would have preferred if they had saved Pete and Vegas development for a possible second season, or at least understood a little more about their history, I haven't been able to create a connection with Vegas, any positive feelings I have about him come from actor who plays him, the character itself does not bring anything positive to me and I tend to reject the future couple that will develop from this humiliating and hasty situation. The series reached its peak in episode 6, the dynamic between the protagonists in the forest was excellent, but it has since slowed down, particularly in episode 8, which has started to feel like a bad comedy. In fact, it is precisely when they tend towards comedy that the biggest problems of this BL arise, in some moments like those involving Tankhun they hit the target, but with other characters it doesn't always work out, even making the series lose its tone, which is complicated in a mafia story that is meant to be at times. In addition, I still think the balance is positive, mainly due to the talented cast and well-executed production, but the script has become increasingly problematic, I hope it catches its breath in this final stretch.
