*claps* I wish I could give you more than a thumbs up. I've done this in the story with a fully kitted out level 100 Sephiroth. The idea of doing it at level one gives me nightmares. I salute you.
Good question. Mostly because of it's secondary use as a life insurance: many times I fought this thing down to 5K and end up getting hit by one final Quo Vadis without assist (that I just wasted to land a combo) and without a full EX bar (that I just used to pull off Heartless Angel) and get killed. Cue extreme frustration. Then there's the crap damage the EX Burst deals and the need to get the fight done ASAP to prevent the data save limit (15 min) from kicking in (happened once). So there :P
Took me a second viewing to realize that, yeah, Shinryu ran off, probably into the Rift/Void. I'd run too, when caught in a fight between a whacko and sadist with a god complex. That aside, bravo, bravo, bravo, sir.

Feral chaos had no chance against the overcompensating swords of Cloud and Sephiroth, combined with the sheer manliness of Jecht.
