My theory about Will, back in 2022 was that he, like Vecna (the dark wizard to Wills light wizard) has powers. But Wills power is the ability influence or shape the upside down. Thats why the upside down is stuck on the day Will entered it and why it didnt look like Hawkins when Vecna first entered it. Will subconciously turned the upside down into hawkins without realising it. I think Vecna kidnapped Will because he wanted to steal his power. Vecna said himself that his plan is to reshape the world and if my theory is right, then Will would be the perfect person to drain of their power for it. It would explain why Vecna would kidnap Will at all. I mean as soon as the gate opened he didnt go for El or Brenner or anything. He went for a random kid riding home. Not only that but he kept him alive, where Barb and everybody else is killed instantly. Hopper found Will with a vine in his throat. Still Vecna refused to kill him after catching him in the upside down. I believe Max is in Vecnas mind and she'll discover the truth about Wills power and Vecnas motive for him. She'll pass the info on and Will will take control of the upside down and/or the mindflayer and set it on Vecna. Hopefully with vecna being ripped apart by demogorgons. The fact that this season begins with a flashback to Wills time in the upside down makes me more confident that this theory is correct.
I want to give you a fun fact: Season 1 Episode 1 you know the scene where Will talks to Mike about how he rolled a 6 and the demogorgon got him. After leaving the lights 💡 flickered that was Steve, Robin, Nancy, and Eddie getting the bikes 🚴. What I am trying to say is that the future can affect the past and the past can affect the future. Remember theirs going to be some sort of time travel happening. Who knows? Have a great day and a wonderful year.
I’m super exited for season 5 but I wonder if Max or Eddie will come back to life. My most worry is about El dying in season 5 so I’m worried about that and she better not die and then Will might die but we don’t know yet but SUPER EXITED ❤
i'm also pretty worried for el:( it's almost a running theory that vecna can't die without her dying as well, which is the worst case scenario! i also have full faith that max WILL come back, in some sort of capacity at least!

I'm also mostly excited to see Lucas, not just cause of the drip, but his story is going to be amazing.
This almost felt like the first S5 teaser with how much is in the video! Can't wait for the final season!
