If she only washes her hair once a year does that mean she only colours it once a year because it looks dyed. It’s a fallacy that locs don’t need regular, as in more frequent that annually, washing or no maintenance whatsoever. When he went in for a sniff it gave me the dry boak. The pixie cut looks great on her.
There was a decent amount of growth to work with if they didn’t want to take the time to demat. They could have saved a lot more if they had more people and more time though. They would have had to cut the ends because those are donezo, then slowly and painfully take out the locs :0
Depends on your hair type. Lots of hair does not need as frequent washing as finer, straight hair. Wavy, curly and coily hair often need less washes. Especially once you get into the course coils.
I'm sorry if I'm being mean but my hair takes a while to dry but it's time I'm willing to sacrifice to take care of my hair. My hair is like my safety blanket. I always dry my hair with a hairdryer and it doesn't take too long. About 30 minutes brushing and drying
just saying here: Locs do not dry when you are blow drying them properly, you might get mold in them. Also, not everybody can just blow and brush. I would look awful like that, my hair getting all fuzzy and wild, instead of pretty curls.
Eww once a year! I mean I have depression and sometimes I don’t brush or wash my hair often enough and my hair mattes and I have to wash and detangle it for ages but a year?? Those also aren’t dreads it’s unmaintained hair matted knots and disgusting hygiene. Dreads are maintained pulled apart and cleaned and well looked after which hers was not
For someone having depression, your comment is lacking so much needed compassion, empathy and sensitivity towards this woman, who you don't know nothing about nor the things she's possibly going through. I hope you feel better about yourself...

Be grateful you don t have it as bad as hers. Of course, dreads are meant to be maintened and washed regularly but Have a little sympathy
