It is strongly recommended that each and everyone (who's mother tongue is not Arabic) who is a Muslim, must learn the meanings of each verse in Salat... From Allah hu Akbar till the end... And as you recite each verse during Salat, KNOW that you are addressing and establishing connection with Allah. It will surely keep you focused on the Salat. This will not only keep you focused but also help you understand the significance of Salat. May Allah make us better Muslims and help us stay on sirat Al mustakeem. Ameen.
This is 100% true. I been trying to be a good muslim but when ever I stand for salah as if the the whole world's problems broke down upon me. And it is so hard to focus. Thank you for this dua sharing
"ALLAHUMMA INNI AS' ALUKA AL'AFIYAH" Meaning: "O Allah, I ask you for Afiyah." Now what is Afiyah? Afiyah means: • To be saved from any afflictions, you are in Afiyah. • To be healthy, you are in Afiyah. • To have enough money, you are in Afiyah. • To live, you are in Afiyah. • To have your children protected, you are in Afiyah. • And if you are forgiven and not punished, you are in Afiyah. So basically, Afiyah means: • “O Allah, protect me from any Pains and Sufferings.” • This includes both Dunya and Akhirah. • Al-Abbas (R.A.) thought about this for a while, and then he came back after a few days and said (paraphrased): • “Ya Rasulullah ﷺ, this Dua seems a little short. I want something big.” • The Prophet Muhammed ﷺ said: • “My Dear Uncle, ask Allah for Afiyah for Wallahi, you cannot be given anything better than Afiyah.”
I keep getting distracted in my salat. This video really helped me out. It’s like Allah made this video appear on the TH-cam home page for me and everybody that can’t focus in their salat. Alhamdulillah, Subhan Allah.
Thank you sheik, I am suffering from this even sometimes I forget how many Rakkats I prayed, when i start then suddenly i start thinking about unnecessary things. At the end of my prayer I realized it and sometimes I start it all over to prayer again and it happen the same, I get weak and confused. Now I knew what to do. Thank you so much
Assalamualaikum. We live in joint family almost 10 members. It's been 4yrs of marriage. Before few months myself and my sister in law had huge fight. She used so bad words on me. After that I told my husband I can't live here. I want separate home or atleast separate kitchen. Earlier my husband accepted to go separately but now he doesn't want to. So I had huge fight with my husband and we both are not talking since last 3 days. He saying for my happiness he can't destroy his family happiness. I cried alot and finally I took this decision that I will separately cook for myself and my kid. Not even husband and others. I won't go to my mom house it's my weakness. I will stay here and cook separately for me not for others. Is this decision right..?
@@onaction9677 Asalamalakum sister from my knowledge yes you are doing the right thing if it is the last option and you have exhausted trying to make your husband understand your issues. You & your kids should be the number 1 priority of your husband in Islam. He didn't marry his family he married you. So talk to him one last time if he doesn't listen then talk to a local Islamic cleric to intervene than you can both come to a final decision. I wish you all the best inshallah 🙏
You should try to resolve your issues with your sister in law. If your husband is not moving away you have to make the situation betterm if the mother in law was bad then one might think of moving away but its your sister in law and these things happen maybe she was having a bad day. Obviously the situation sshould not be toxic but family is all that matters in this world and as you grow older you will know.
Dont break up with your husband because of your sister in law. It is not easy to get married again especially with a chimd. If your husband is hood to you have sabr nothing else matters.

I was having trouble concentrating so I reduced my salat to only Surah Ikhlas instead of reciting an assortment of surah choices after Al-Fatiha. Then outside of salat I took my time to get into the meaning of every verse and dhikr that I'd be saying. So when I stand for salat I take my time to recite with meaning in my heart. Alhumdulillah this has helped me with concentration. Now I've started to reintroduce other surahs back into my prayers. It's important for non-Arabic speakers to mean what you say in salat. I hope this helps.
