I don't think the 14 tournaments rule is in place. I had played just a few in the season before after coming back after over a year and I was able to play the trial and the following cups. I was definitly under 14 tournaments before and it went from blocked to unblocked. I played comp before with playsments such as top 200 so this might be why I was able to play.
That’s not how it works at all, if you have under 14 events played in the last 180 days then you literally cannot queue up for tournaments with a prize pool or that lead to a prize pool. You can still play non prize pool tournaments until you unlock the other ones
Fortnite servers run on AWS which also runs the Amazon prime live stream of the Thursday night football game. The tournament and broadcast start at the same time. This could be why tournaments break on NA when it is a big tournament at the same time as the Thursday night football game. Could be wrong but could be right.

You only need to have played 3 tournaments now to play fncs. I think it was changed few days ago. Im not 100% sure if this is really the case. My friend hasnt played 14 events and still was able to play on division 3
Glad to hear that Epic Games and Fortnite is listening to the community it would be amazing if they looked to adding African servers even if its just for a specific place in Africa like South Africa and also look to fixing the Middle East servers in South Africa also it would be amazing if they brought back Arena as they are bringing back OG and would be amazing if they added back the original Siphon

I stopped playing solo bc people keep spamming the attack and there is nothing to do against it shotgun if it hits can't kill them
