B&V’s fond memories of Kane don’t seem to include that awful top rope clothesline that never once made contact with an opponent but was sold every time
This was actually Chris Jericho's TV debut for WWE, he had his first actual match (a hilariously bad nightstick-on-a-pole match with Big Boss Man, where the nightstick fell off the pole and into the ring in less than a minute) the day before SummerSlam in his (and my) hometown, Winnipeg.
They did a few episodes from 2001 that I heard and generally forgot about. They did the infamous Kurt Angle Tiny Hat episode, which was on an otherwise not very good Smackdown in September 2001.
True lifelong pro-wrestling fans know that Paul Levesque is about number 350 on a list of the 400 greatest pro-wrestlers ever lol. Only teenyboppers like HHH. Perrenial lower mid card talent who married well.
Bryan "cut to the chase" Alvarez tells a meandering story about a dog that looks like Pepper
Thanks again!
This isn't the first episode on the network and my mind had a hard time comprehending it
Wow, Thanks for these awesome reviews
Wish Triple H only had 4 words! How many 20 minute promos did we have to suffer through?

When was Big Show in the best match at mania? Did I mishear Bryan?
He said Taker was in the best match at Mania, and that Big Show was in the main event. Referring to Mania 36.
WrestleMania 2000 for N64 was where Tori had music. Just sayin lol

Is just a one off review, or did they start doing retro Smackdown?
One off
@@thomasrodriguez-b3n They never reviewed any more episodes of Smackdown until 2005
