When I was a kid, I wanted a Traxxas Slash for years, and talked about it almost everyday. My parents got me the expensive toy for christmas one year, and I felt like the luckiest kid in the world. I still have that old Slash to this day, but it needs a few parts replaced from my abuse, but I just finished replacing all of the bearings and re greasing everything, not it just needs electronics and a new chassis. That Traxxas put a smile on my face many times, and it still will in the future, once I finish rebuilding it.
Coltman Lampton please be explain how? They have a bigger variety of vehicles than anyone else and some of the strongest, most versatile and some of the best looking in the rc world and plenty of others agree
Bought a 1/16 slash a few years back, bought it on amazon too, came without pins and a car port charger with a dead fuse, it sure who’s fault that is but the machine worked great
I just bought the Teton, and upgraded it with 3S 4800kv brushless. That thing screams! I'm just getting into the 1 16th and didn't know they made the Slash or Revo in that size. Now im not sure which one to get, Slash or Revo. They both look awesome!
Mike Smith Im thinking of getting a teton. Do you recommend it? I used to have a traxxas e-maxx brushless, but ended up selling because i had no time to use it.... wish i never did.😔 Also would it be possible to send the links for any of the upgraded you did? Thanks
@@samcrow1071 Never broke the axels on mine, the stock a-arms are junk though, one side broke immediately. Got some RPM ones like 5 years ago, they're still going strong.
I got it just now for $250 but it’s mini. I still love the mini. It barley ever breaks and the bigger 2.0 one that’s $500 breaks more. Love the E-Revo mini 1/16 scale and it never breaks. That is my recommendation.
I have bolth of them the mini and the e Revo 2.0 I have to replace the rear diff on my mini almost every time I want to drive it however it's bigger brother I spent the money on the center steel driveshafts and beat the hell out of it on 6s lipo melted through a spoiler and snapped a wheelie bar from doin backflips and crap on flat ground but the car itself don't give a damn it's dam near unbreakable so I beg to differ it's still stock basically the mini has full Traxxas steel cvds center and all 4 corners with savox duel servos aftermarket tiered and rpm a armes all the way around still kills it's self evrey damn time
I have an old old 1/16 Traxxas slash 4x4 I really liked it then it started having lots of problems and needed a new electronic speed controller along with a bunch of other things but I was able to get a bunch of money together and repair it or you can get a new motor for it a lighter and more powerful motor I REALLY like it
Was probably filmed with the music's so you can't hear the diff going out on them I have a couple of them can't drive one of the vxls unless I wanna replace a diff
What's even fun about 3s?? Seriously, it destroys the body, ruins the ESC and the driveshafts, breaks all the parts, and the battery dies quicker. Please just stop running 3s the car is too small
@@Jeroen-Engelgeer tsm on 4x4 basically does nothing, tsm only steers when your not , and only really for if the car drives out of range. u can come out of turns slightly faster with tsm thats all it does.
@@youngpocket7846 I'm sorry but TSM does a lot more , if you want i explain it to you. Never the less, the mini Summit on 3S is very hard to steer and go fast in a straight line without TSM.
@@Jeroen-Engelgeer if you have set all your steering components properly , your servo your bellcrank and your link, you should be able to drive straight without tsm and i know what it does.
traxxas even says the advantage is coming out of corners faster is what it does, it also helps your servo find "straight" when u hit bumps. BUT all your steering components still need to be set correctly, because things like steering trim and tsm, can break physical pieces if they are forcing the to go "straight"
My only issue with traxxas is the suspension it seems to sag on most models also i love my summit it was my first hobby grade RC and its bin so much fun
Iv had my merv vxl for close to 10 years now..awesome little bugger but blows up Differentials and bulkheads like its its job ..hopefully traxxas found a fix since this video is 2 weeks old
@Nitro Junkie iv tried everything over the years, iv found the big issue is flimsy bulkheads, running hard on 2 or 3s makes them warp under the load and the diffs pay the price. Sadly theres only one aftermarket option and if i remember correctly they only offer an aluminum front bulkhead and not the more needed rear

9years ago I started with a 1/16th traxxas grave digger and it’s a beefier version of the e revo and I’m in the process of restoring it to the new ID
1/16 scale -- bigger than life action! Loving all the Traxxas videos.
This reminds me exactly why I fell in love with Traxxas, I love the 4x4 slash

Traxxas cars are junk and never where good cars

The 1/16 e revo VXL is BY FAR my favorite car that traxxas has ever made :D
I’m so happy I’m lucky enough to own one! Everyone should get one :D
E-REVO is my dream RC
Bout time there was another video on the little but powerful 1/16 scale slash! My very first hobby grade RC Truck!!!!
The 1/16 slash was my first “good” rc and now I’m hooked
The 1:16 slash started my rc hobby 3 years
I got one, a brushless version. i love it so much !!!!💙💛💚
I love Traxxas and I am going to get one!!!😃🥳🤩😎

i love traxxas~♡
My Traxxas slash 2X4 has a Velinean motor in it and I recommend it it is amazing.
Makes me really want to buy a 1/16 scale e-revo. I have a Slash. But that little truck zooms!
I threw some drift tires on my e Revo and it works well imo
Cool video traxxas thx for making my day even better. First it snowed finally here in vegas and now this video. This is a perfect day
Need to come out with more bodies n tire options for slash n Revo.
please upgrade the 1/16 e-revo
Crispin Shipp it has weak points but overall it is pretty good. I’d say it’s fine

At least update the wheels and body to look like the current revo 2.0

Mini Maxx it’s already a nickname. 🧐🧐
I just got done driving my 1/16 slash
Is it good?
Yes they are great for what they are. Surprisingly fast and that's coming from a guy that runs brushless 3S-6S Rcs.
@@CodyJohnstonbaugh how long does the battery last?
Wish my 1/16 summit still worked. Maybe I got a lemon but I miss that little beast

you should add more stores around the world make a wide max kit for the hoss and make a sound sistem for the
xo1 and a light sistem for it as well
So which ones better because I was going to get one of those two but dont know which one
how long does the battery last
It depends on the battery and your driving style but typically you will get around 30 minutes
Love your cars
I love practice too I already have about six of them
Loved my Revo enough to keep putting driveshafts in it, but not enough to replace the ESC that died for absolutely no reason
Your problem is 3s. Stop running it on 3s. Use 2s
What's even fun about 3s?? Seriously, it destroys the body, ruins the ESC and the driveshafts, breaks all the parts, and the battery dies quicker. Please just stop running 3s the car is too small
Awsome love ur vids
Please bring back the 1/16 brushless slash.
which car is better?
Epic vid 👍

I hope to get the bandit, slash, and maybe somehow to max!
10th scale n bigger for me please!
