Im also a goat farmer, when my goats were zero grazing they had very little milk for kids, they used to be picky in feed and they used to drink less water and growth rate of kids was very poor. But now when my goats are grazing for about 3-4 hours daily(even the pasturers are poor ) but still their belly look full. While zero grazing i used to feed them 3 times a day but now only 2 times. But the main advantage is they ars healthy now. Good to eat, active and less intervals in kidding.

my pastures have lots of grass here in ontario canada and the goats still try to get out thru the fence I'm thinking to separate the fence breakers and lock them in the open barn and feed hay and leave them there
