Got mine yesterday, although I went for the colour-blind engieer's improved engine green livery. They're lovely models. And the LNER Coronation coaches are gorgeous too. It's been an expensive month with those as well and my wallet my take a while to recover, but no regrets.
@@Proper_Chuffed thanks Hylt . Mine is just a big trainset rather than a layout , but it suits me . Yes she does run well , she was at about 65 % regulator running in .
Very nice looking locomotive. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to recall colour photos of this engine in a "yellow" livery or was it the case that there were livery changes? Smart looking articulated Coronation coaches. Well done!👍
@@crewelocoman5b161 Thanks . Yes I’m very pleased with this one . It is also available in yellow or “improved engine green” . This was a livery it carried when restored by the Scottish Region in the late 50s I think . It was used on rail tours along with Caley 123 , Gordon Highlander and Glen Douglas . I think it appeared in “Those magnificent men in their flying machines “ in yellow . I went for the less garish green which is what it ran in in Highland Railway service , although that yellow was tempting . I haven’t spent money on trains for ages then the Coronation stock and the Jones Goods all arrived at the same time ! I need to get the magnetic couplings on the Coronation coaches to get them close coupled . They are getting pulled by my 1981 Seagull ! Thanks for watching ! Looking forward to your next video
