Another cool challenge mod by supware. This one replaces your whip with a mattock and allows you to place the blocks you've destroyed with it. Rocks can be used to increase your mattock's durability and you die if the durability reaches 0. A durability counter is the only thing I think is missing from the mod. If that gets added, then I might try to do some kind of speedrun for this mod.
Some people have said they’d like a durability counter; others said it’s better without, to stay true to the mattock so to speak. What do you think about a kinda compromise where the UI displays a mattock symbol that degrades every 10 durability or so like Kingu’s back?
@@Supware I think that idea is fine. You can also make the durability counter an option that can be toggled on or off. Something else I noticed is that the durability decreases regardless if a block is destroyed. So, it's possible to swing at nothing until you die. Could you make it so that the durability doesn't go down unless a block is added to the block inventory? It feels kind of bad to lose durability when hitting enemies in the air or breaking through regen blocks. I just finished a Chain Low% Duat run (which I will be uploading soon), and I use the mod's mechanics more in that one.
wow an empty jawngc comment section? normally they would have a buch of comments i think. idk i just like seeing the kaizo vids and the challenges. also is it possible if you can do another one of the glass cannon challenges? i have the playstation spelunky and no pc 🙁
I'll make another video for that challenge if I can think of something else interesting that I can do with it. Most likely some kind of Sunken City run. However, I'm currently busy with other projects. So, don't expect another video for that mod anytime soon.
