Why is this even a discussion. August 1 is an historic date “Abolition of slavery” this is the date our ancestors were freed and August 6 Independence Day is the date we celebrate our true identity of becoming independent vs wanting LONGER HOLIDAYS smh our ppl need to be more cultured and educated more on this matter before even suggesting this. There’s so many other holidays from the slave masters and these dates are the ones up for discussion WOW!

Caah believe! there are ppl out there ….that don't know the significant of these days...all i hear is difficulty with preparation …if that's the case pass the responsibility to those that have been doing it for years and to those that love their country, not money. Because it not been taught in school . Both previous and present administration failed the education system hence this is the result
