Wes, I'm also a farmer and mechanic in New Pa and I've been impressed several times about how you do your field practices and your shop work. Don't let the keyboard farmers and mechanics tell you any different, we both are at the age where we know what works best for our operations. I look forward to your videos all the time. Keep up the good work and have a merry Christmas!!

👍 great video! If you would have taken the tractor to JD dealership you would have more than likely might have wanted to visit a non local bank in a ski mask. I’m ashamed to admit what I’ve had to pay for some parts from JD dealer for a baler. I bought a used JD baler very low bale count however it had some missing parts that I want to put on it. It’s just insane what parts cost. The language thing it’s something lots of believers have to over come and I’m twenty years or so older than you and I’m still working on the language thing so don’t give up. The more you study the scriptures the easier it becomes. Enjoy your videos been following for several years and have gained some valuable knowledge and encouragement from them. Merry Christmas to you and family

You should check out the off-road floor jack from Harbor Freight. It has big wheels so you can move it around on dirt and uneven surfaces, and it has extensions for lifting higher. It would have been perfect for this job.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Really enjoy the mechanical work videos, thanks. I’ve been watching C&C equipment for my mechanical fix when your not making them. Lots of knowledge that I’ll never use repairing dozers and similar equipment. The one thing I picked up from them that I would expect to hear you say is referring to starting fluid as Cosby sauce. 😂 Wishing you and your family the best and a Merry Christmas.

    John Deere 4450 MFWD
Produced from 1983 until 1989, the 4450 was the best-selling tractor in the Deere 50-series lineup. It features a 7.6L 6-cylinder turbo diesel engine, rated at 140hp. Transmission options were either a 15 speed Power Shift or the quad range. The 4450 was available as either a 2wd, or with a mechanical front wheel drive (MFWD), which we prefer. There’s no shortage of jobs for the versatile and ultra-popular 4450, and recent strong auction prices support that as well.

@onelonleyfarmer it's a lovely place plenty of wildlife and open spaces. And everyone welcomes everyone . If you do come. come by plane and spend a couple weeks here as there lots to see and the outer island are nice to see. Farming side is a little different as only run sheep and and some cattle. Some plant turnips etc for feeding livestock. Also best Christmas lamb you will have in your life. Bring the famly and come and have a brake from the world.
