Whoever sent the t-shirt picked a verry good color for you! I think the lamb with the funny voice sounds like it got a bit of goat DNA stuck in it's voice box. 🤣
For a few years we had a blue jay and our yard who had a funny voice like that. All the other Blue Jays seem to know what he was saying, so everything was okay. He sure sounded funny though!
All the lambs are looking so good!! Your sheep on a bicycle shirt was a cute gift!! Your coveralls are a great model for others wanting to establish a sheep operation. You and Arnie make a great team! Thanks so much for sharing your busy days with us!!! Stay safe!!
Thank you for all the videos. It is not because i dont write comments i dont watch the videos. Here there is a bit of snow too. -2😂 and lots of people are panicking... 😂everybody should do a few weeks driving in canada... 😊 Big hugs from belgium... ❤❤❤
Love your “chunky” lambs❤️❤️❤️ Everyone looks so good! You all take really great care of your animals! Even the kittens know this. They keep appearing 😂😂😂!
Good evening Arnie and Lynn. Love your gifted tee shirt. Blue is a good color. Brrrr. I can hear the crunch. So glad to see Alexander. Oops. He says I am enough of a boy and I’m still proud. 😂😂 The little bunny tails look perfect. Hi boys. Looking great and your children are beautiful. What a cute little ewe tgat likes to hop into the feeder. Fuzzy is so cute. Makes you want to give it a hug. The lambs like their pen with the soybean meal. Yummy. Thanks so much to our professors from Ewetopian University always interesting to know how things are set up for the well being of the ewes and the lambs. Blessings and big big hugs to you both Snuggle bit the fire. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️😉😉
Hi,Lynne and Arnie at 21:00 you tell us the ewe would not take a lamb. Often in the UK the shepherd skins the ewe's dead lamb and puts the " coat" on the lamb to be adopted. This is left on for a few days until the pair are bonded.. The lamb looks like it's wearing pyjamas. I wonder if you ever did this ?
No, we have never done this. We are probably too squeamish for it, but I do know people who have done it. We are quite lucky with adopting lambs in general, but occasionally, it doesn't work. That ewe lost her lamb a week or two ago, so skinning wouldn't have worked in this instance anyway
You would think it could be a problem but we have one lamb that is constantly in there with them and there has been no problem. However, as soon as this cold snap passes, the rams are moving to the next barn. At the moment, they are in there to help keep the barn warm 🙂
No, we will leave it but I will have to pay close attention when we are separating rams from ewes. I will adjust it so my reader can see it is a ram and not a ewe. The color is just a quick visual for us in the pen.
About how many more ewes are there to lamb, do you know approximately? Arnie can just make anything can’t he? I love that pvc pipe to help the lambs slip into the creep feed area easily. Y’all seem to be holding up a little better this year..,,or is that my imagination 😊
Things are going better this year because we spread the lambing groups out more. It means lambing season is longer but we have a little more time to breathe. We still have about 150 ewes to go
This is one of our videos that shows you. We clean out the barn with the skidsteer then take manure to the fields as fertilizer th-cam.com/video/fXI8Adg0khM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=XfGNe7MNeJqM7vGa

Watching late but still wanted to comment. Want your channel to grow.
I appreciate it! Thanks ❤️
Loving the lambing videos 😍 Would the lambs be in danger if they got in with the rams?
You would think it could be a problem but we have one lamb that is constantly in there with them and there has been no problem. However, as soon as this cold snap passes, the rams are moving to the next barn. At the moment, they are in there to help keep the barn warm 🙂
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
Will you put a new tag on the mismarked ram lamb?
No, we will leave it but I will have to pay close attention when we are separating rams from ewes. I will adjust it so my reader can see it is a ram and not a ewe. The color is just a quick visual for us in the pen.
@@EwetopiaFarms that makes sense, thanks.

Are you keeping the old Rams in all winter.
We are going to keep them in while we have space and then they will head back to their lean-to. It is much easier for Arnie to feed them indoors.
How do you clean out the barn from poop?
This is one of our videos that shows you. We clean out the barn with the skidsteer then take manure to the fields as fertilizer
