See that's what I'm talking about. I woke up one morning half asleep and began thanking God for saving me from myself. I knew I was on to something and now it's so cool to see Dan agree. I guess it came from the holy spirit. How we look the same even though we never met.

"Eternal life" from the Greek Zoë actually means "divine life".
"Wrath" from the Greek Orge was used for expressing extreme emotions. It could either mean "wrath" or....... "PASSION"!!
"Saved" from the Greek Sozo actually means "saved, made whole/complete, protected, brought back to origin".
    So.....
We are not "saved" from the wrath of God, but restored from Adams fall by Christ's passion through His blood and Spirit!!
It has been translated incorrect by translators of "a certain denomination". Check the strongs. It is there.
That we all may grow into the whole measure of the fullness of Christ in whom all power and wisdom is sourced.
Finally. The normal divine life the first Adam let go of, has been returned to us.
    Happy new year!!!

Amen. It was given to us 2000+ years ago for the world.

Hey Dan I got a question.... If where suppose to cover the earth in HIS image meaning children, when where not saved doesn't that mean where covering the earth in adam? So only those who are reborn again into God's image should actually be the ones having children correct?

Hey :-) First - it's not Dan Mohler here as he is not anywhere on the internet - just to make sure you know that.
To your question - I will answer as best as I understand it. To cover the Earth by His glory/image doesn't mean "to make children" as they are (nowdays) born "in fallen state" (as we all are) and need to be born again (and transformed into His image like we all do). Even in Genesis when man was created in the image of God (before man lost it) it didn't mean "make children" but multiply the image. (Which before the fall was kinda simmilar because each seed reproduces after it's own kind so it shoud reproduce the image of God). The image is LOVE (God created man in His image and God is LOVE).
Another aspect is that by getting born again you are not automatically transformed into His image, aka you don't become Love aka you are not like Jesus instantly... If you look on nowdays "Christianity" - humanity would end if only people transformed into His image should be the ones having children :-) (But it would not guarantee His image anyway.) Luckily it's not that way. So it's not about children, but about LOVE. And now it's matter of each individual to get to know Him and be transformed by Him into His image :-) Hope it's clear enough.

      Great question and great answer!
I'd also like to extrapolate on the idea of multiplying and being fruitful on the earth. Paul talks about in everything we do we do as unto the Lord... meaning in your words, work/career, creativity, play, everything and anything you do in relationship with God (Holy Spirit alive in you) is an expression of Him. Children are easy to measure regarding multiplying, but God embodies much more than that.
This remains true even in fallen man... every person has a piece of the image of God even in a broken state. That's why the good news of redemption through Jesus is so important! When you can see a piece of God in a person, you're seeing the hope of their potential with Him even if they're unaware or openly rebellious... because He did the same for us. "While we were still sinners Christ came and gave Himself up for us."

Jesus, died for your sins (which you inherited when you became flesh), He rose and descended back into heaven on the 3rd day, and He is coming again in the twinkling of an eye, like a thief in the night (when we least expect it). We are instructed to be baptized by water (submerged under water to represent dying to ourselves, as Jesus Himself demonstrated) and of the Holy Spirit (He promised his Holy Spirit to live inside of us as our comforter while we wait for His coming). His spirit is what transforms us and makes us more like Him. And He doesn't just want to save you, but that promise is for everyone else around you too. So He wants to use you to reach them, but you cannot do that unless you have, first, been transformed. God bless you on your journey!
