When I do closet clean outs, I have to make several attempts. A gradual letting go. Afterwards there is a freeing feeling and I don't miss them. Loving and wearing are separate. One day...for me means no.
Really good point about loving vs wearing. I love a lot of shoes that I can’t wear due to problems with my feet. I’m starting on a process of eliminating any shoes I can’t walk properly in. If I can’t walk 20 min in them, they need to go. It’s going to be a really sad process. 😢

I give them a wipe down after each wear with makeup/facial wipes!
I use baby wipes. Cleans off the shoes like magic! Do I have a baby? No. 😅😅😅 I learned this trick from my raver friends. 🤙😎
I have been using baby wipes to clean my shoes and clothes ever since my son was born almost 18 years ago! 👍@@alamedadanceparty
